Cecilia Vega Bio: From News Reporter To Senior White House Correspondent

Born on 7 January 1977 as Cecilia Marcellina, Vega grew up in San Francisco. She recieved her education from Salesian High School and later graduated from the American University School of Communication.

After graduation, she started off as a news reporter. Then, she became a news reporter for KGO-TV ABC7. There she belonged to a  team which received an Emmy in 2010 for local reporting.

The focal point of her career took place when Cecilia embarked to ABC News in 2011 as an L.A based correspondent. During her time as a correspondent, she traveled a lot and covered news on Fukushima Power Plant Disaster, Olympics. She covered big news such as the inauguration ceremony of President Barack Obama, Ebola cases in America, and allegations against Bill Cosby.

She was appointed as a news anchor for ABC News' World News Tonight Saturday in 2015 and was named Senior White House correspondent in 2017. Serving as ABC News' Senior White House Correspondent, she earns an average salary of $99, 317.

Moving onto her love life, Cecilia is married since 17 August 2008 to her Mexican husband, Ricardo Jiminez (California Highway Patrol Officer) who recieved the meritorious achievement award in 2015.  

She shares pictures with her husband every year on their anniversary. She has also shared her wedding pics, and it looks absolutely festive and fun. As per the posts, they had a parade-like Mexican wedding ceremony with musicians.
