Ashley Dougherty is a meteorologist on Pittsburgh's Action News 4 This Morning and on Pittsburgh's Action News 4 At Noon.

It was the year 2008 when she began her career as a meteorologist at WTRF in Wheeling, W.Va and worked her way up before arriving at WTAE in 2012. As in now, she works at WTAE as a meteorologist.

She is also an animal advocate, who raises awareness about animal abuse, and is involved in working with animal shelters to help dogs and cats find their forever homes.

Ashley Dougherty,  a native of Wampum, Lawrence County, celebrates her birthday on every 14th of April. She grew up with two older brothers, Chris and Juston.

When it comes to her education, Ashley completed her high school from Mohawk High School where she was the only girl on the boys' golf team. Later on, she was also able to get in the top 10 in the Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant.

After graduating from high school, Ashley got her B.A. in communication from Bethany College in West Virginia. Later on, she earned her broadcast meteorology degree from Mississippi State University.

Talking about her love life, back in September 1st of 2017, Ashley got engaged to the love of her life, Bobby. She had announced her engagement to her fans through Instagram where she posted a collage of pictures showing her engagement ring, a glass of champagne and her beautiful dog named Bubba.

Later on, on August 25th of 2018, the couple finally got married and walk down the aisle. It was a full planned wedding, kept altogether with the help of Bumble Burgh Events.
