American television personality Vanna White is famously known for co-hosting NBC’s favorite game show, Wheel of Fortune alongside Pat Sajak. She has been responsible for turning the puzzle board in the game for more than three decades while her co-host does most of the talking.
The South Carolina native hit the role in Wheel of Fortune when she was an aspiring actress. She has a career history of modeling, and when she is not on the show, she keeps herself busy with crochet and knitting. She even owns her yarn line named Vanna’s Choice.
But how old is Vanna White? And how much salary does she earn? Learn about Vanna White's age, education, career, salary, and net worth below.Â
White Is in Her Sixties
Vanna White was born as Vanna Marie Rosich on February 18, 1957, in Conway, South Carolina, United States.
Her never-aging looks make it difficult to believe that she is already 64Â years old.Â
Her Life Before Wheel of Fortune
When White was an infant, her parents split—her mother was Joan Marie Rosich and her father was Miguel Angel Rosich. After that, she was brought up by her mother and stepfather, Herbert White Jr. But sadly, she lost her mother to ovarian cancer.
Afterward, the game show host was determined to make a place for herself in the entertainment industry. She studied at Atlanta School of Fashion after high school graduation and began her career as a model.
She also tried her chance in acting but couldn’t ace it. Her first game show experience was as a contestant on The Price Is Right.
Her experience as a struggling TV personality came in handy while auditioning for Wheel of Fortune as she was chosen in 1982 from among 200 possible candidates to replace Susan Stafford. And the fact that she has been in the show for over three decades suggests that she deserved the selection.

As of 2021, Wheel of Fortune is already in its 38th season, and its popularity doesn’t seem to be going down any time soon.
Meanwhile, the hostess is gaining popularity for wearing more than 6500 stunning gowns for the show. She doesn’t get to keep the dresses she wore in the show. But with the salary she earns, she can surely stack her closet with her collection.
As for her salary, White is paid an annual salary of $10 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. However, in 2017, Forbes reported that White signed up for Wheel of Fortune, earning her $4 million a year.
What Is Vanna White's Net Worth?
The host is counting multi figures from her lucrative career, as she has amassed a net worth of $70 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
She received a compensation value of $5.2 million in 1987 when she filed a lawsuit against Playboy for releasing photos from her early modeling days without her consent.
Likewise, she had also sued the Samsung Electronics Corporation after the company aired a commercial video featuring a smiling robot that turned letters on a game show. The television host stated that the company was using her likeness without permission. Luckily for White, she won the lawsuit after several appeals and was awarded $403,000 in damages.
Besides, she also earned a few bucks from the profit she made after selling her luxurious Beverly Hills-based home, which she owned for the last two decades.
The home was put on sale for $38 million in late 2019; however, White later sold it for a much lower price of $19,300,000 in June 2020. The home was covered a 5.08-acre lot of land and consisted of eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a massive kitchen, and a four-car garage. It also had an indoor movie theater and a private gym.

Vanna White's Personal Life: She was Married To George Santo Pietro
In December 1990, Vanna White got married to restaurant owner George Santo Pietro. Together they welcomed two children: son Nicholas, born in 1994, and a daughter Giovanna, nicknamed Gigi, in 1997. But White's marriage with Pietro could not go on forever, as they divorced in November 2002.
Previously (before getting married to Pietro), in the 1980s, White had also dated Playgirl centerfold and Chippendales-dancer-turned-actor John Gibson. They got engaged at some point in the 80s; however, Gibson was killed in a plane crash in 1986, before they got married.
Presently, the Wheel of Fortune star is with her long-time boyfriend John Donaldson, founder of JDC Construction + Development Group. She met him through a friend in 2012 and since then they have been inseparable.
The couple is not looking to getting married, although they are committed to one another.
We wish that Vanna White stays happy in her personal as well as professional life. And we hope to see her young every day in future episodes of Wheel of Fortune.
