American Journalist Rebecca Jarvis is happily tied in a marriage knot with her college sweetheart, with whom, she spent quality times during their dating times.

The Minneapolis native is famously known to be the chief business, technology and economics correspondent for ABC News. With an in-depth knowledge of finance, Rebecca has amassed a lot of fan following through her reporting skills.

Rebecca Jarvis was born on 28 September 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Her parents were both educated people who always inspired her to flourish in her career. Her father, James T. Jarvis is a lawyer and a business consultant based in Chicago and her mother, Gail Jarvis is a financial columnist in Chicago Tribune. 

The American native, age 36, attended St. Paul Academy and Summit School in 1999 and graduated from University of Chicago in 2003 with a degree in Economics and Law,  Letters, and Society.

She also furthered her horizon of knowledge by studying International Economics and Business at Paris Dauphine University. 

Rebecca's News Career Started With CNBC

 Rebecca works as a correspondent for ABC News. She is also the creator and anchor of the YouTube channel "Real Biz with Rebecca Jarvis."

Furthermore, Rebecca prepares a report for all ABC News programs and platforms, including "Good Morning America," "World News Tonight with David Muir," "Nightline" and "20/20."

Before joining the ABC News in 2013, Rebecca hosted "CBS This Morning: Saturday," Rebecca worked for the CBS News as a founder, host and managing editor of "The Startup with Rebecca Jarvis" on CBSNews.com.

Rebecca, who stands at the height of 1.75 m (five feet seven inches), even served at CNBC as a reporter from the New York Stock Exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Rebecca Jarvis's Married Life

36-year-old host and anchor, Rebecca Jarvis is living a blissful married life with her husband, Matthew Hanson, the partner of GSA Asset Management.

Rebecca and her husband first came across each other at the University of Chicago as students. After completing the graduation, they worked together at the investment banking in Chicago and grew together as co-workers.

After a year of working together, Matthew finally asked Rebecca out on a date and the two started dating since then.

Their romantic life blossomed ecstatically with the sway of time. However, their relationship faced some challenges when Rebecca moved to New York after being hired by CNBC as a business reporter.

However, the distance didn't affect much. The love-birds stayed in the long-distance relationship for two years before Matthew eventually moved to New York for work.

In 2010, Matthew ultimately asked his lady to marry him and Rebecca happily accepted the proposal. 

After around two years of their engagement, the couple married via an intimate wedding ceremony held at McNamara Alumni Center, Minneapolis on 28 January 2012. 

Though the duo didn't share details of their wedding then, Rebecca shared a picture of her wedding on her Instagram account back on 28th January 2016. And via the caption, she quoted her husband as her partner, foundation, and overwhelming happiness.

One such instance is when Rebecca shared a selfie with her husband on 5 September 2017. In the picture, she gave a wide smile whereas her husband gave a grumpy look. Elaborating on the scene, Rebecca, in the caption, wrote,

Moreover, they also celebrated 2018's Valentine's together and Rebecca posted a picture with her hubby Instagram the same day. While the love-birds are enjoying time with each other, they yet to be parents and fortify their loving relationship. 

Though Rebecca hasn't welcomed any child of her own and seems miles away from being pregnant, she is very active in dedicating her time to empower children.

Rebecca even received the national recognition for her work with Colin Powell to help children and improve communities.
