Since the early age, Jessica dreamt of becoming a ballerina, and she even convinced her parents to chase her dreams of making it big in the profession.
Jessica's Upbringing With Family; Eating Disorder At Age 14
The industrious actress was born on 14 September 1989 into a multiracial family with roots in both Scotland and England. Her father, Christopher Brown-Findlay was a financial adviser and her mother, Beverley Brown-Findlay was a teacher’s assistant and nurse.
At the age of 14, she had suffered from an eating disorder, and she fought against it.
Brown Findlay, who had a passionate interest in ballet dancing, trained with the National Youth Ballet and the Associates of the Royal Ballet. Just at age 15, she got the opportunity to dance with the Kirov at the Royal Opera House for the whole summer season.
While schooling from Furze Platt Senior School in Maidenhead, she was called upon by some ballet schools at the end of her GCSEs. She then chose to go to the Arts Educational School, because it was suiting for her as of the pastoral care and the courses it offered.
Just in her second year at School, Brown Findlay, who already had eating disorder then encountered another major accident in her life as she had to undergo three operations on her ankles, the last of which was a failed operation.
After the operations, she was told that she could never dance again.
She then decided to embark upon a career in acting, something she had always considered after her experiences as a ballet dancer but had never tried. However, she finished her education at Arts Educational School, Tring Park after encouragement from an art teacher.
And then completed her Fine Arts course at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
Talking about the disorder in March 2017, she insisted that the eating disorder was one of the hardest struggles where she felt lonely for a long time; as she hid her disorder.
Moreover, she opened up about her struggles and called for ‘mature conversation’ about mental health and depression.
Jessica started to talk about her problem more openly after having therapy and believed that she felt less lonely by sharing her problems with others.
She Started Acting Career In 2009 (Misfits)
Jessica started her on-screen acting career by portraying the role of Rachel on the science fiction comedy series, Misfits in 2009.
In 2011, she was cast in the leading role of Emilia Conan Doyle in the drama film Albatross, which was the milestone of her career.
After a year, she got starred as Beverly Penn in the film adaptation of the novel Winter's Tale alongside Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe.
Jessica made her theatre debut in 2015 at the Almeida Theatre, London, as Electra in a new adaptation of a trilogy of Greek tragedies, The Oresteia.
Her on-screen credits include The Riot Club (2014), This Beautiful Fantastic (2016), Monster Family (2017) and Harlots (2017).
Achievements From Career; Increasing Networth
For her role of Emelia in Albatross, Jessica was nominated for the Most Promising Newcomer by the British Independent Film Awards in 2011 and the Evening Standard British Film Awards in 2012.
Entertaining the folks for nearly a decade, Jessica has not only earned her recognition but also accumulated the significant amount of fortune. She is the brand ambassador of the England based jewelry brand, Dominic Jones since 2012.
As of 2017, Jessica has amassed the stunning net worth of $3 Million.
Ex-boyfriend Supports Despite Breakup
The 28-year-old was in a relationship with the artist boyfriend, Thomas Campbell. The couple started dating in 2010 after they first met while both were students at Central St Martins College of Art in London.
After dating for two years, the couple ended their relationship in November 2012. The separation seems to be amicable as her ex-boyfriend came to her support when she was one of the victims of celebrity phone hacking in 2014.
Her intimate images and videos were hacked from her Apple iCloud account, and after some days Thomas spoke in her support stating that it was a massive invasion of privacy and feel sorry for her.
He further added that anyone's private love messages, whether they are visual or just text, are always embarrassing if a third party sees or reads it.
However, the hacking scandal did not create trauma in her personal life as she stepped up in a new relationship after splitting with Thomas. She started dating the talented actor, Ziggy Heath.
Met Boyfriend On The Set Of Harlots, Social Media Not Required To Flaunt Love
Jessica and Ziggy first met on the set of the set of period drama series, Harlots in early 2017. Both the couple shared the same screen together as Jessica played a prostitute character, Charlotte Wells, and her boyfriend, Ziggy portrayed the role of the journalist, Sam Holland in the series.

The lovebirds enjoyed their romance by attending the Harvey Weinstein Bafta after-party at the Rosewood Hotel in February 2017. Moreover, they spent the romantic night cozying up on a sofa until 4 am.
Since then, the couple has not flaunted their romance as both of them are far from social media.
But it seems like Jessica is relishing her old school love life with Ziggy without any manifestation from the social media so far.
