After receiving her high school diploma from Edina High School in 2006, the Minnesota native enrolled in Boston University’s Broadcast Journalism programme.
Her Playing Career:
Jenny, aged 31, lettered for four years for Boston University representing the Terriers scoring 15 goals and giving five assists.
During her playing career, she shined her trophy cabinet with an accolade of NSLA Player of the Year in 2005 for her performances as a member of her high school lacrosse team.
Moreover, she was also engaged to 2006 MSHSL AII-State Team and 2005 MSHSL/NSLA AII-Star Team. In between 2008 and 2009, she played a lot of games and was able to score seven goals and three assists for the same team.
But after finishing her University she left her playing career entirely and initiated a new journey for herself.

Jenny’s husband, Matt Gilroy, who stands at the height of 6 feet 2 inches (1.88m), is a professional ice hockey player who is currently applying his trades in KHL playing for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. He had previously played for the Moscow based ice-hockey outfits Atlant Moscow Oblast and Spartak Moscow. Matt Gilroy was also named in the squad of the US hockey team that represented the USA in the Olympics, the grandest stage of all.
The pair had reportedly met in college circa 2006. It is likely that the duo’s love for sports may have helped ignite the romance between the two.
