On 4th September 1953, Harry Boomer was born as the youngest of ten children to parents George Boomer and Lucy Boomer.

North Carolina native, Harry has completed his studies at the Columbia School of Broadcasting, Northern Virginia Community College, and Cleveland State University. After his academic completion, he pursued his career in the realm of journalism.

Harry Boomer's Career: Conquered Both TV & Radio

Harry, with progressive knowledge in journalism and broadcasting at the age of seventeen, was hired as an emcee at the Mark IV Supper Club in Washington D.C. Later on, he used to work in different major radio stations in D.C until 1998.

Harry's ambition of having a career in journalism sparked when a program director at the WBXT AM/900 radio station signed him. While working at WBXT AM/900 radio station, he even got a chance to volunteer at the WUAB television station in Cleveland, Ohio.

Keenly dedicated to journalism, Harry worked his way into morning and noon co-anchor and reporter of 19 Action News at the WOIO television station which is affiliated to CBS.
