Her healthy net worth and salary are the results of her long-working career and experience.

However, Baldwin seemed unhappy when she talked about male-dominated leadership, the difference in salaries, and gender disparities in the CNN network during an episode of the On the Issues With Michele Goodwin podcast in April 2021.

She stated that the inequality between men and women directly impacted female anchor's salaries, as the highest-paid anchors on the network were majorly men.

"I’ve been anchoring for 10-plus years, the majority of that time two hours in the afternoon," she said. "And in that time, you know, the most influential anchors on our network, the highest-paid, are men."

In 2018, The Wrap even reported that CNN had more male anchors than female anchors on on-air roles compared to its competitor networks.

Not only that, Baldwin discussed how no females were included in the list of the 100 highest-paid athletes in the world during an episode of CNN Newsroom in June 2018.

At the end of the segment, she encouraged everyone to stand up for their worth.

She Has Double Degrees in Journalism and Spanish

The veteran CNN anchor was born on July 12, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

She pursued her school education at The Westminster School, a private college-preparatory school. Later, she earned a double degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001.

During her undergraduate years, she also studied at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

One of her remarkable works was co-anchoring CNN's special coverage of the final launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-135) from Kennedy Space Center on July 8, 2011.

Brooke won a Silver World Medal for Best Investigative Report at the New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards in 2012 for her crime documentary To Catch a Killer. She also became a finalist of a Peabody Award for hosting a town hall in Washington, D.C., on gun violence in 2015.
