Brad started his career by working at UW Oshkosh in his university as a PR assistant for two years from 1997 to 1999. He was a corporate communication associate in Leo Burnett Group, a globally active advertising agency based in Chicago, where he worked for more than five years.

He served as senior operation management in an online ticket exchange company, StubHub for ten years. Later in 2014, he began working as a full-time real estate agent for Bucktown based Realtor.  As of 2014, he is a real estate agent on Chicago properties.

Brad married his longtime girlfriend Sarah Spain on 29th of May 2016. His wife Sarah, aged 38 is an American journalist, who has been associated with the ESPN network.

The couple first met each other in 2008 at a charity bowling event hosted by Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook. They had their first date at a Cubs game in 2009. After dating for around five years, Brad proposed to her while they were on vacation in Tanzania.

Their significant love towards each other is often evinced on their social sites. On the occasion of the valentine's day 2018, Brad's wife Sarah wished her husband by uploading an intimate throwback picture of their wedding. The caption was filled with a lovely quote by American writer Madeleine L'Engle. 

The two lovebirds can be seen enjoying a wonderful vacation, a game or just a romantic dinner with each other as evident through their social media posts. The couple recently enjoyed a party together at Piazza Bella Trattoria & Osteria in June 2018.
