David Eason is an American reality star who starred in MTV’s reality show Teen Mom 2. He is most preferably known as the husband of the Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans.

Before beginning his career as a reality TV star, Eason had a job working as a pipe welder. Likewise, his entry into the industry has seen him gain followers with his Instagram followers count reaching 400K.

The Southern man now is a father himself as well. He is married to his famous wife Jenelle Evans. The pair met on Tinder and got engaged in 2016 when he proposed to his wife with a pear-shaped engagement ring just days before Valentine’s Day.

He then finally exchanged the vows of ‘I Do’s’ with his wife, surrounded by their family and close friends on 23 September 2017 at North Carolina. On the rustic-themed wedding ceremony, his wife Jenelle Evans wore a beautiful Martina Liana’s white-lacy wedding gown while he wore a classic white suit, shirt, and a tie.

Both David and Jenelle Evans are previously married. David has two children from previous relationships with his wife Olivia Leedham: daughter Maryssa Rose and son Kaden David. While his wife  Jenelle Evans also has two children; son Jace and Kaiser from her exes Andrew Lewis and Nathan Griffith.

David Eason: A Man Linked With Several Controversies

Like every coin has two sides; it’s the same with David as well. Seen as a loving family man on social media, he’s had his own fair share of controversies and all for not so good reasons.

In fact, his ex-wife Olivia got a restraining order against him in 2015 on the counts of domestic violence for choking her. However, a few weeks before his wedding with Janelle Evans, David was granted probation.

The list of controversies goes on -- he was also fired from Teen Mom 2 and Twitter after he wrote a thread of homophobic tweets referring to gay and transgender people as abominations.

In the past, he has a criminal history of alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and has also been in jail from October 2014 to January 2015 for the misdemeanor of breaking and entering multiple offenses of driving while impaired.

The latest controversy he is linked to is with his current wife Jenelle Evans. Earlier in October 2018, his wife Jenelle Evans placed a 911 call. The call went like this-

My husband, he just assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground, I’m sorry, in the yard. And I think I heard my f—— collarbone crack. I can’t move my arm.

But later Jenelle Evans denied the claims and said her 911 call was “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” 

And the controversies don't stop there. Jenelle's mom Barbara claims that Eason has been keeping her daughter as a prisoner. In a number of interviews, she claims that Eason has been physically abusive to Jenelle and that she has been feeling the pressure of being in a relationship with a broken man.

Another incident later occurred when a woman by the name Sandra Britt told TMZ that while looking for rental houses for her daughter, Eason rushed behind her in his ATV and proceeded to ask a series of questions and later threatened to shoot her while holding his gun.

Britt filed a police report but the report has not been verified for a full-on investigation. Eason however, later denied the claims made by Britt.
