Having a high school history as a linebacker and quarterback helped American footballer Jimmy Garoppolo get a chance to complete his three-and-a-half-year quarterback apprenticeship with the New England Patriots under Tom Brady.

In 2017, he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers to play as the quarterback. Playing for the 49ers, on September 23, 2018, he finished 251 passing yards in the 49ers’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs before leaving the game with a left knee injury.

He is the third child to his father Anthony J. (Tony) Garoppolo and his mother Denise F. (Malec) Garoppolo. His three brothers are Mike, Tony Jr., and Billy Garoppolo. Denise Garoppolo, a cook, and her husband Tony Garoppolo, an electrician, raised their kids in a suburb northwest of Chicago. 

Jimmy completed his high school at the Rolling Meadows High School in Illinois, where he also played as a quarterback and linebacker for the Mustangs football team.

He was rumored to be trading with the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns, but he remained with the Patriots in the first season of 2017 and joined the San Francisco 49ers in October 2017.

In February 2018, he signed a five-year contract worth $137.5 million with San Francisco, the largest contract in NFL history.

Jimmy Garoppolo's Dating History

Jimmy remains in the headlines not only for his games and injuries but also for his dating life and girlfriends.

He was in the news for dating Alexandra Rose King, an Instagram star and model, after pictures of them holding hands surfaced on the internet.

But speaking to Bleacher Report, Jimmy said he wasn’t even aware of the alleged romance until his friends brought it up.

Shortly after that, the sports and entertainment media was flooded with the news of Jimmy dating the adult star, Kiara Mia. The photos and videos of the two having dinner in a top-class Greek restaurant surfaced on the internet in July 2018. 

Some commentators and fans criticized him for dating an adult star. But some of his seniors and colleagues defended him by saying his dating life did not affect his career and team.

Jimmy neither denied nor confirmed his relationship with Kiara, but he expressed during an interview that he would be careful about presenting his personal life in public in the future.
