An excellent swimmer who became successful in swimming her way towards the news industry as well -- Ashley Brewer is an American sportscaster. She is widely recognized as the weekend sports anchor and reporter for ABC7’s Eyewitness News.

Prior to her current position at ABC7, she served as a sports anchor for Cox 7 Arizona and KGUN-9.

Ashley Brewer Born In Family of Division-I Athletes

The Phoenix, Arizona native was born on 13 December 2011 in the family of parents; father & mother (Deborah Brewer). There is no clearly outed information on the ethnicity of her family, but one thing we do know is that she grew up in a family of a sports enthusiast as all of her siblings are Division-I athletes.

Her brother Charles is a pitcher for the Diamondbacks, her brother Chase played baseball at UCLA, her brother Connor plays football at the University of Virginia, and her sister Abby played sand football at the University of Southern California.

She went to school at Chaparral High.  She graduated from the University of Southern California where the athletic beauty with a height of 5’10 was heavily engaged in swimming. She was a member of the USC varsity women's swimming team and also competed in the 2012 Olympic Trials.

During her time at college, she also worked as an intern in the ABC7 sports department during the spring of 2014.

Ashley Brewer’s Journey From ABC7 Intern To ABC7 Sportscaster

After graduation, she became a college football sideline reporter for Cox 7 Arizona. Then she went onto serve as the weekend sports anchor for KGUN-9, ABC network based in Tucson, Arizona.

Over the two years at KGUN, she reported news on the college and professional sports. She reported on College Football National Championship game on 2016 and also covered the Super Bowl XLIX.

And finally, in 2018 she became a part of the ABC7 News network as a sports anchor and reporter.

Besides ABC7, her career bloomed in the entertainment industry as well when she was chosen as a sports presenter in the reality show The Bachelor Winter Games. It is a winter sports-themed reality competition television series. In the show, Ashley presents the play-by-play and live interviews during the games.

The gorgeous Ashley's valentine for 2018 was the lion mascot of her favorite hockey team LA Kings. She is a huge fan of the hockey team and cheers for them at every chance she gets.
