Tanisha Thomas’s on and off Relationship with Boyfriend Carey St. Hilaire
Tanisha Thomas was 22 years old when she was introduced to television audiences in 2008 as a cast member in Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club.
Back then, she was rambunctious, rude, crazy, and constantly involved in drama with her castmates.
However, a trip to jail, which was aired on the show, changed the plus-sized diva’s outlook on life.
After that, she quickly became the show’s fan-favorite with her hilarious, larger-than-life personality.
With a new outlook, she gradually worked her way into hosting the show’s reunion specials and the dating competition show Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too.
Ever since then, she has made a lucrative career out of reality-TV show appearances.
She also had her own solo docu-series, Tanisha Gets Married, which chronicled her life with her ex-husband, Clive Murr.
Thomas’s First Marriage
Thomas and Murr got married in front of TV cameras in December 2011, and the ceremony was aired in June 2012, in an episode titled ‘Possibly Ever After.’
With the constant fighting between Thomas and then-husband Murr, their marriage seemed ill-fated from the start.
In 2012, three months after their wedding, Thomas appeared on HOT97 and spilled tea on her marriage.
She revealed that while she was still legally married to Muir, the two had stopped living together after a little over a month as husband and wife.
When asked about her marriage, Thomas confessed that her hopes of a fairy tale marriage were dashed pretty soon.
We got married on December 4, and by January 18, he was out of the house.
Two years later, the two found renewed hope and gave love a second chance.
The couple joined yet another reality-TV series, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, to make their marriage work. However, they continued to fight, and by the end of the season, they had lost all hope and had no other choice but to divorce.
Dating Again
A lot changed since the demise of her first marriage. Thomas moved on, worked on herself and her career, and found love again.
In October 2017, Thomas took to her Instagram to share photos with her then-boyfriend, Carey St. Hilaire, to announce that the two were expecting a child.
A few months later, the new mother revealed in an Instagram post that their son, Aiden, had been born.
Just a month after the birth, the couple got engaged.
But by December 2020, MadameNoire reported that Thomas had announced on Instagram that her relationship with fiancé Carey St. Hilaire had taken a hit because of COVID.
The announcement post has since been deleted.
The reality star seemed confident, in the comments section of the post, that he would come back to her.
It is unconfirmed if they got back together, but on May 20, her fiancé uploaded a PDA-filled photo of the two. Thomas’s Instagram feed, however, has no traces of her relationship.
We can only wait and see if the couple makes it to the altar.
