Sammi Giancola and her financé Christian Biscardi have unfollowed one another on Instagram, effectively setting the rumor mill ablaze with speculations of their breakup. 

The Jersey Shore alum and Biscardi had put a ring on their relationship back in March 2019 after dating for two years. 

That's not all, the boyfriend seems to have deleted any and all posts related to the 34-year-old reality star from his Instagram page.

Giancola, however, still had snaps of her allegedly former beau on her socials. Her most recent Instagram post featuring Biscardi dates back to February 2020.

As for her YouTube channel, Biscardi can be seen in a Christmas card photo for her Sammi's Favorite Holiday Traditions video from December 2020.

The Engagement Announcement

The couple came forth with the news of their engagement on March 5, 2019, when Giancola surprised her fans on Instagram with a snap of Biscardi on his knees. 

In the caption, she announced that she was overwhelmed with happiness and added, 

Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you [Biscardi] I love you!!

At the time, Biscardi had chimed in on the comments section with an adorable, "I love you." Then again, he also poked fun about how no one was going to tell him to put a ring on 76,000 times a day.

COVID Postponed the Wedding

The couple had even planned for a wedding sometime in 2020. However, because of the global state of chaos because of the coronavirus pandemic, they chose to postpone the ceremony. 

In March 2020, the then-bride-to-be told her followers that she had already selected a wedding dress but didn't reveal much.

Giancola Declined 'Jersey Shore' Reboot

The reality star has actively avoided the spotlight since her time on Jersey Shore and even flat out declined to come back for the Jersey Shore Family Vacation, a reboot of the already popular show. 

As for why she chose to stay away from the reboot of her breakout hit, she wrote, 

At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.

Prior to her relationship with Biscardi, Giancola was in an on-and-off relationship with Jersey Shore co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro for several years. 

Ortiz-Magro made headlines recently when he was arrested in Los Angeles in suspicion of abusing his partner who was injured on April 22, 2021. According to E!, he was already on probation at the time because of a previous domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend Jen Harley.
