Jana Kramer Shares a Life Changing Revelation about Her Anxiety
A divorce from husband Mike Caussin might have been just what Jana Kramer needed.
She then took to her Whine Down podcast on May 16 to describe her surprising new reality.
Celebrating Small Victories
In her Small Victories episode, Kramer invited Dancing with the Stars pro Keo Motsepe. The two opened up about how they dealt with their own break-ups and how to take care of mental health.
Kramer revealed that despite still waking up in the middle of the night, her anxiety had disappeared following the split.
It was when she stopped having anxiety attacks that she knew she had done the right thing.
The country singer revealed that her biggest fear was being alone. But with her calmer state of mind, she now understood that sometimes removing oneself from a negative situation was the wake-up call some people needed.
She realized this was a small victory towards healing and advised her listeners to celebrate both big and small victories.
Motsepe too gave his two cents about moving on from a break-up. The dancer had recently been involved in a very public breakup with the Selling Sunset actress Chrishell Stause.
Motsepe was accused of playing the victim. His ex had even questioned his integrity.
In the podcast, Motsepe admitted that the negativity got to him but ultimately refrained from reading tabloids and blocked the negativity while he stayed silent and spent time with his loved ones.
Krammer and Caussin’s Rocky Relationship
While Caussin was in rehab, the two had actively worked through their issues. The singer admitted that the road to mending their relationship had been difficult, especially since her trust in Caussin was broken.
The two attended therapies and ended up renewing their vows as well.
The retired NFL player explained he had been in “the 12-step program of sex addiction” for almost three years and revealed that he was approaching a year of sobriety.
This is a part of me, and I’m comfortable owning to the fact that I’m a sex addict. It’s still hard to say that out loud, but knowing that I can help possibly help other people, maybe we can save some more relationships.
However, in the divorce filing obtained by E! News, Krammer cited the reasons for the divorce as “inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences, and adultery.”
The two have finally called it quits after trying their hardest to make it work.
