Albanian reality star Drita D'Avanzo, threw her engagement ring away when her criminal husband was in jail but with time, the wound healed and she went on to buy a new one to give people a hint that the beautiful lady is in fact ‘taken.’

The Albanian native is best known for being a regular character on the VH1 reality show Mob Wives. She is also popular as a freelance makeup artist and has her own line of fashion cosmetics called Lady Boss.

Drita is now working in a new 2018 VH1 reality show named Celebrity Shore alongside Janni Farley and Nicole Polizzi which is slated to hit the TV screens later in 2018.

Drita D'Avanzo was born in Albania on 6 February 1976 as Drita Selmani, making her Albanian in both nationality and ethnicity. Despite continuing to live in the states, and making a name for herself here, she continues to identify herself as Albanian in nationality. 

Her father Nezir Selmani and mother Kadima Selmani were both Albanians immigrants. For some unknown reasons, Drita had to move along with her parents to Staten Island, New York where she grew up.

The reality TV star, age 42, had a good environment in her home and was a promising soccer player when she was a child. She, however, passed up the chance to play professionally for the national soccer team so that she could pursue her acting interests.

Drita's passion for acting led her to a mobster, Lee D'Avanzo--a convicted felon and leader of New Springville Boys. The couple quickly fell for each other and were married in 2000.

Apart from being the season regular of the reality TV show, the Albanian TV star also has her own line of fashion cosmetics named Lady Boss which is highly popular. Through all of these involvements, she has amassed a whopping net worth of about $3 million.

Drita D'Avanzo Fought With Fellow Star About Her Husband

Drita has been accused of assaulting reality star Farrah Abraham on June 2018 with a handful of unkind words. The feud took over the internet like clouds in the sky before rainfall and the ladies are still caught up on the feud now.

Before this, Drita D’Avanzo had been alleged of beating and fighting many times including beating up her neighbor in 2016 and getting arrested. On her former show Mob Wives, she had been filmed getting into fights and attacking her nemesis and former co-star Karen Gravano.

Karen Gravano was the former girlfriend of Drita’s now-husband Lee D’Avanzo and the fight started after Karen accused Drita of breaking the girl’s code by marrying her former boyfriend. The fights were shown over all the seasons of Mob Wives where the two co-stars got physical with each other over the subject of Lee D’Avanzo.

Is Drita With Her Husband Now?

Formerly, in an interview with Reality Tea in 2011, Drita, height 5’6’’, had said that she was, in fact, leaving her criminal husband Lee. The revelation had come after the Albanian had found that her husband had been involved in an affair between his two prison sentences. She had also found that Lee even took his daughter Alleya to meet up with the mistress, making things worse.

Things really had turned bitter and hard to handle for Drita and the couple separated from each other for some time. Drita was already finalizing plans for a divorce with her felon husband and was even seen about the hardships of finding a right dating partner, post-divorce, because of her history with Lee.

However, love finally found its love back after some time and both of them patched up again.

The couple now has a family of four with two daughters Aleeya,17, and Gizelle of age 10 as per reports.

Even though the prison sentences have not allowed the couple to stay together for more time, Drita and Lee manage everything and adjust with themselves, by the virtue of love.
