Vin Diesel was born in Alameda County, California, on July 18, 1967, to his mother, Delora Sherleen Vincent, an astrologer.

He has openly said that he has never met his biological father, saying, “all I know from my mother is that I have connections to many different cultures.”

Diesel also has a fraternal twin — which is another lesser-known fact about his family life. The name of his fraternal twin is Paul Sinclair, also known as Paul Vincent.

Who Is Vin Diesel’s Twin Brother, Paul Vincent?

Diesel and Vincent’s relationship was strictly private, and many people had no idea that the actor even had a brother.

But that changed in March 2014 when the famed star took to Facebook to post a picture featuring his close friend and late actor Paul Walker and his blood brother, Vincent.

“The Two Pauls,” he captioned the post. “Pablo [Paul Walker] and my mother would have deep conversations...she claimed, that it was no accident that this on-screen duo has come to define brotherhood in Our millennium.”

He continued to write, “You see... the other guy in the photo is also named Paul... and although they look more alike, he is actually my twin brother.”

Since then, many details regarding Vincent have surfaced on the internet.

For instance, he is a married man and also works in Hollywood. He is reportedly a film editor and works in the sound department.

Vin Diesel and Paul Vincent Do Not Look Similar

Diesel and Vincent are far from looking like each other.

The Fast & Furious star even referred to his Facebook post of 2014 once when trying to help the media after they wrongly called someone else his twin.

While Diesel sports his now-iconic bald look, his brother has a full head of hair, although with some salt and pepper sprinkled in.

The Twins Have Great Love between Them

They share a great love for each other. Diesel once dedicated an Instagram post to his brother by sharing their childhood picture on their birthday.

The snap featured a quote that read, “You take away all the other luxuries in life, and if you can make someone smile and laugh, you have given the most special gift: happiness.”

A fan even praised the love Diesel showed for his brother, writing,

That's what I love about you the most you know what's real you know what's important loving family you have that around you and you're the richest person in the world beautiful thing carry on my friend Carey on.

Another chimed, “Friends Stick Together And family is, Never Leave them, Because they love you paul.”

Diesel’s posts also communicate the huge respect he has for his brother’s privacy.
