Trisha Paytas Announces Pregnancy

On February 14, 2022, YouTuber Trisha Paytas announced they were nine weeks pregnant in a YouTube video titled 'I'm Pregnant.'

Paytas said they were in disbelief to learn about their pregnancy because they had been infertile for the past eight years. The doctors had told them they could never have kids and would have to rely on IVF.

Later, Paytas and their husband, Moses Hacmon, tried to have a baby. And they found out they were pregnant on their honeymoon in January this year.

And since it had been so difficult to get pregnant, they were worried about the early stages of pregnancy.

The second and third name was Zohan, after Adam Sandler's iconic character, and Ice because they thought it was cool.

Paytas also shared that they had liked Diesel since they were a kid, but Hacmon said they might be outdated since they had liked them when they were kids.

They also talked about Syed, Gerard, and Keanu after Keanu Reeves.

And for the girl's name, the first one on their list was Cookie, but Hacmon rejected it, saying he didn't want to name their child with food items.

They also had suggested Reneesme, Kate after Kate Bush, and Priscilla, the vampire from the broadway Queen of the Damned.

Although the couple had come up with boy names, they saved it for the future because they were expecting a daughter on this occasion.

On April 10, 2022, they uploaded a video of their gender reveal and announced they were having a girl as they popped pink confetti cannons.

They were surprised they were having a daughter because they thought they were having a son.

"Everyone's been telling us it's a boy. They're like, 'oh if you don't have morning sickness it's a boy, if you're glowing it's a boy,'" Paytas said in the video.

The YouTuber already knew about the gender before the reveal, which they revealed in a YouTube video titled, '17 weeks bump date + we know the gender,' uploaded on April 8, 2022.

But they did not reveal any information and noted they would make the announcement publicly during their gender reveal party.
