Wattpad has created a perfect community for writers and readers globally. Some novels on the platform have been turned into acclaimed movies and series. 

For example, The Kissing Booth got turned into a Netflix series, Light As A Feather into a Hulu Series, and After trilogy into movies.

In addition, there is a list of novels that have been purchased to make into either a film or a series. 

One such novel is The QB Bad Boy and Me. Penned by writer Tay Marley, the novel has more than 30 million reads on Wattpad.

The story revolves around a high school cheerleader, Dallas Bryan, and star quarterback, Drayton Lahey. Bryan has made plans on getting a coveted dance scholarship at CalArts and is ready to do anything to get it. 

However, things turn upside down when Lahey comes into her life. The QB Bad Boy and Me story is being turned into a feature film, and TikToker Noah Beck is involved in it.

On March 31, 2022, Deadline reported that Marley's novel was being adapted into a film. Beck will portray the role of Lahey and will also produce the movie alongside his manager, Maxwell Mitcheson. 

Wattpad Webtoon Studios and Creator+ will produce the romantic comedy novel. For Wattpad Webtoon Studios, Lindsey Weems Ramey and Aron Levitz will produce the film.

Similarly, Nick Phillips, McKenna Marshall, and Adam Wescott will serve as producers from Creator+. Finally, Mary Gulino will serve as a writer to adapt the novel for the screen. 

The movie's production is scheduled to start in the summer of 2022. Beck said he was "thrilled" to work on The QB Bad Boy and Me in a statement to Deadline.

He added that he was honored to bring Marley's story and Lahey to life. He was excited to be "partnering with this incredible team" and gushed that he couldn't wait to get to work. 

The TikToker also took to Twitter to announce the news. He revealed that the film had been in the works for over a year. 

He issued a statement and thanked his teammates and fans for helping him expand his career.

Marley also took to Twitter to announce that her novel The QB Bad Boy and Me was adapted into a film. She dubbed her book "whole heart and soul" and said she was excited to see it being made into a movie.

She gushed about how happy she was and that Beck was the perfect Lahey for her. In another tweet, she revealed Lahey was the "most beloved character" she had ever written. 

She believed the TikToker would do a perfect job to portray the quarterback, and she was excited to see her characters being brought to life. The writer even said that Beck was "perfect for the role."

Fans of Marley and The QB Bad Boy and Me were elated to know that novel was being turned into a movie. They congratulated Marley and said she deserved the achievement. 

Many pointed out that the book was a must-read for fans of the romance and comedy genres. Similarly, they hoped the movie would do justice to Marley's story and the portrayal of her characters. 

The release date, along with other cast members of The QB Bad Boy and Me, has not been announced yet.
