Does Taylor Kitsch Have a Girlfriend? A Look into His Dating Rumors

Canadian actor and model Taylor Kitsch has been very tight-lipped when it comes to his personal life.

Despite actively sharing his travel adventures and photography on his social media, he has chosen not to share much about the topic, especially his dating details and girlfriend, over the years.

Because of those reasons, it is unknown if he is currently dating a girlfriend or not.

In hindsight, he could be single but might have preferred to keep his relationship status private.

However, that has not stopped his fans and netizens from speculating things about his love life. In the years he has remained private, the actor has been romantically linked to Rachel McAdams, Minka Kelly, and Jessica White.

Kitsch's earliest dating rumor was with fashion model and actress White back in 2007.

The rumors swirled around the internet when the two did a risqué couple shoot together for GQ's April 2007 issue. Their shoot was done by the photographer, Carter Smith.

Both Kitsch and White never responded to the rumors.

Another dating rumor that made huge rounds in Kitsch's personal life was with his Friday Night Lights co-star, Kelly.

A professional actress and model, Kelly's first starring role was in the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights.

Her other acting credit includes Parenthood, Charlie's Angels, Almost Human, Legends of Tomorrow, and Titans.

Kitsch and Kelly were linked after they starred as a couple [Lila and Tim Riggins] in the NBC drama series.

"I think [Tim] is probably the love of [Lyla's] life. I don't know, maybe they do end up back together, maybe he gets his [expletive] together, and they work things out," Kelly talked about her onscreen romance with Kitsch while speaking with Vanity Fair in 2016.

She added, "It's not like we [castmates] are texting each other all the time, but we certainly check in with each other every so often, and we're like a little family. It's not hard to hear about what's going on with any of them."

Again, the rumors were not addressed by Kitsch and Kelly, keeping any possibility of their real-life romance under wraps.

The buzz around Kitsch and McAdams dating started in June 2015 when they were spotted dining together at West Hollywood's Osteria Mozza.

"It hasn't been long," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "But it's serious."

Similarly, another source close to McAdams shared that the Canadians had been "friends for years" since getting "closer on set."

A month later, Kitsch addressed the dating rumors between him and McAdams during an event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Speaking with ET Canada at the event, he said, "There is no record. There is nothing to set straight, she's an amazing actress and a great gal."

Around the same time, McAdams also revealed that talking about rumors related to her dating life was "weird."

"I guess you just have to laugh at it at a certain point," she added, not exactly denying or confirming the rumors.

She also made fun of the people who spread those rumors, saying, "I'm like, 'Who are these people? How did they confirm that?' I find it really confusing, but yeah, it's an odd little thing."

Kitsch and McAdams' dating rumor eventually shut down when the actress' relationship with Jamie Linden came out.

She welcomed the couple's second child in 2020.
