After a five-month hiatus on social media, popular TikToker Sienna Mae Gomez is finally back.

Gomez’s last upload on both Instagram and TikTok was on January 2022.

She did not provide any explanation before going off-grid, but fans assumed she was busy dealing with the sexual assault allegations offline.

In May 2021, the TikToker was accused of sexually assaulting her former friend and fellow TikToker, Jack Wright

The duo had known each other since high school and appeared together in multiple videos, leading netizens to think they were in a relationship.

They never confirmed their relationship but were often seen cuddling and kissing in their videos.

But on May 30, 2021, Wright’s friend Mason Rizzo publicly accused Gomez of sexually assaulting Wright in TikTok and Twitter posts, which Gomez immediately denied.

After the sexual assault allegations, netizens turned on Gomez and wanted her canceled.

She lost followers by the hundreds of thousands while her family and Wright’s family worked to resolve the issue behind the scenes.

And from January 2022, she stopped posting videos, much to the happiness of netizens who wanted her canceled.

However, on May 29, 2022, Gomez returned to social media by uploading the same video on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Gomez was seen dancing and spending quality time with her friends at the beach.

The video had the caption ‘she lives’ and was accompanied by Dominic Fike’s song ‘Cancel Me,’ which touches upon the cancel culture that is rampant in today’s society.

Although Gomez’s video and song choice could mean anything, fans assumed she was mocking the cancel culture given the song’s lyrics.

“I hope they cancel me so I can go be with my family. So I can quit wearing this mask, dawg. Tell the people, ‘Kiss my [expletive], dawg.’ I hope they crucify me. I hope they put me down. I hope they euthanize me,” lip-synced Gomez.

Most netizens were outraged at her return, but Gomez thought little of it and bravely left her comments section on.

“Ain’t no way she is back,” one user wrote, while another commented, “DAMNNN, she is alive? And comments are on? You brave girl.”

Sienna Mae Gomez Receives Support for Her Return

Following the post, Gomez uploaded two more videos on TikTok.

In the first video, she lip-synced to a popular Nicki Minaj catchphrase that went “took some time off to rest, and now it’s game time.”

Meanwhile, in the last video, the TikToker was dancing to ‘Tell em x Yeah Yeah’ by Vmesh Beats.

Gomez’s choreography to that song went viral last year, and since then, she often recreated the video in different outfits.

While some netizens were horrified at her return and blasted her for not understanding what it meant to be canceled, her loyal fans seemed elated that she was back.

In her Instagram post, they commented they missed her and asked how she was faring.

Gomez even got comments from supermodel Ashley Graham, who commented, “Hi beauty! We love you.”
