Rory Culkin and his wife, cinematographer Sarah Scrivener, got married in 2018 on the eve of WrestleMania 3 — and it was one of the most interesting weddings in the industry.

The wedding was hilariously officiated by WWE hype man Paul Heyman, the booming-voiced WWE announcer and the advocate for WWE Universal Champ Brock Lesnar, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The WrestleMania-Themed Wedding

Culkin and Scrivener presumably planned their wedding WrestleMania-themed because the actor was a huge wrestling fan from a young age.

Moreover, he and his brother Macaulay Culkin, who is an actor and musician, reportedly watched wrestling all day long together.

During his appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan in February 2019, the Lords of Chaos star admitted that his wife was a WrestleMania fan, too. Hence, they invited Heyman to officiate the wedding.

In addition, the reason behind their wedding that was held in New Orleans was, “that’s where WrestleMania was at that moment. Everybody’s doing what they want to be doing, and they’re doing really great work. And they’re all happy in their personal lives. That’s as good as it gets in this world.”

The wedding further saw the presence of the couple's friends and family members, who cheered for them when they took their vows.

"Rory I couldn't be happier to marry you on this rainy day in New Orleans on the eve of WrestleMania with our closest [in presence]," Scrivener, who wore a beautiful white gown, read her vows with Culkin right in front of her.

On the other hand, the groom sported a shiny maroon suit and a pair of black shoes.
