On the first weekend of Coachella, among many high-profile musical performers who took the stage was Phoebe Bridgers.
Bridgers debuted with her song from the 2020 album Punisher and collaborated with Arlo Parks for ‘Graceland Too’ while singing her new song ‘Sideline.’
She performed on the second weekend of the music festival, and this time she surprised fans with a special guest for her final performance.
The musician brought out the Normal People star and her boyfriend, Paul Mescal, for the Punisher track ‘I Know the End.’
Many fans took to Twitter to gush over the pair’s performance, and according to some fans, the singer claimed she was engaged.
On April 29, 2022, DeuxMoi, Instagram’s biggest celebrity gossip account, uploaded a blind item claiming Bridgers introduced Mescal as her fiancé at a private Coachella event.
That being said, there is no confirmation on whether the couple is engaged.

Bridgers and Mescal have been rumored to be dating since July 2020, after they were spotted together.
The songstress had flown out from Los Angeles to Ireland to meet Mescal and have brunch in a cafe in Kinsale.
Although the paps could not photograph their meet up, the cafe tweeted the duo had visited them for breakfast and were “amazing and talented young people.”
The cross-country meet up came weeks after Bridgers admitted she found the artist cute.
During a June 2020 interview with NME, Bridgers revealed her boyfriend followed her on Instagram.
Recalling the moment, the singer shared she “got a little pitter-patter in [her] heart.”
And then, in November, at the 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala, the duo seemingly confirmed their romance.
The Normal People star and the singer walked together on the red carpet at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Bridgers wore a cream-colored lace blouse paired with a red tartan floor-length skirt, while Mescal sported a black tuxedo.
As the photographers took pictures of them, Bridgers even rested her head affectionately on Mescal’s shoulder at one point.

A few weeks after the event, Mescal talked about his girlfriend in an interview with GQ, although he ensured her identity remained a secret.

It is unconfirmed if Bridgers’ boyfriend was talking about her, but he seemed enamored by someone. He said the mystery lady’s support and guidance have been “a lifesaver.”
“To have someone to lean on through such a mad, mad time has been invaluable. Really, I don’t know where I’d be without her,” he said.
It was not until December 2021 that the couple went Instagram official.
Bridgers uploaded a photo of her and the actor looking cozy.
The image had no caption, and it seemed like the singer was confirming what the world already knew about her relationship with Mescal.
In the comments section, her fans congratulated her, with some even noting that they were jealous of her.
