Peter Crouch is a former professional football striker who has played for the England National Team since 1999. He has also played for many clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Burnley, Stoke City, and Southampton, among others.

Crouch’s career in football started in July 1998 after being signed to Tottenham Hotspur. Since then, he has broken many records during his career.

The talented athlete entered the 2018 Guinness World Records book to record the most headed goals in the Premier League. He has scored 51 goals with his head, five more than the previous record held by striker Alan Shearer.

Crouch is also famously known for celebration dances. For example, he did a robotic dance in 2006 after scoring a goal. Since then, he has been celebrating his feats, dancing, and amusing the audience.

Although Crouch retired from football in July 2019, he might put his celebration dancing skill to good use soon.

Peter Crouch in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

Strictly Come Dancing is a BBC one reality dancing competition. Here, various celebrities team up with professional dancers to win the hearts of the judges, audience, and eventually the competition.

The show has been on air since 2004 for 18 successful seasons. Season 19 is scheduled to be aired in mid-2021, but the date has not been revealed yet.

There have been a few rumors surfacing about the celebrities for the 19th season, and one of them is Crouch. He is reported to follow in his wife Abbey Clancy’s footsteps to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing

Clancy is a model and television personality best known for Britain's Next Top Model and the dance competition. She was the runner-up of Britain's Next Top Model cycle two, whereas she won Series 11 of Strictly Come Dancing

If Crouch were to be a part of the show, he would be the tallest competitor to date with a height of 6 feet 7 inches. However, both the athlete and Strictly Come Dancing have not officially announced if Crouch has joined the show or not.

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy's New Series

It seems like 2021 is the year when Crouch and Clancy will dip their toes in each other’s interest. For Crouch, it might be the dancing competition whereas, for Clancy, it is a reality TV show involving football.

On June 23, 2021, The Sun reported the couple had landed their first reality series — Save Our Beautiful Game. The eight-part series will follow Crouch as he coaches a football club to change them for the better.

Clancy is not a football fan, but she will still appear on the show and provide her opinions to her husband. Save Our Beautiful Game will air on Discovery+ in late 2021.

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy

The couple first met each other in 2006 at a bar in Liverpool. Three years later, they got engaged in July 2009.

The pair welcomed their first child, Sophia Ruby, on March 14, 2011. Three months after the birth of Sophia, they tied the knot on June 30, 2011.

The wedding was held in Leicestershire at the Stapleford Park Hotel with friends and family. They welcomed three more children after their marriage.

Their second daughter, Liberty Rose, was born on June 1, 2015, and their third child, Johnny, was born on January 3, 2019. On June 3, 2010, the couple gave birth to their fourth child, Jack.

Crouch and Clancy enjoyed a happy marriage till the birth of their second son. After giving birth to Johnny, things became difficult that they could not stand each other.

The duo hated each other, but Jack came as a savior. The fourth pregnancy was scary for them, however, they got through it and described it as their “gift from god.”

Jack saved his parents’ marriage. Currently, the pair live happily at their home in Surrey with four kids and many pets. They have two cats, two dogs, two lambs, and five ducklings.
