Matt Jones is a talented actor and comedian renowned for his roles of Brandon Mayhew on the AMC crime drama series Breaking Bad and Baxter on the CBS sitcom Mom. The 39-year-old currently stars as Douglas Wheeler on the CBS sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola.

Matt Jones and Kristen Hager First Met on a Movie Set

Jones and Hager have now been together for over three years. Speaking on Windy City LIVE in November 2019, the couple revealed that they first met on the set of their 2019 film, The Turkey Bowl.

Interestingly, they didn't have a single scene together in the movie, but they managed to fall in love with each other despite that.

"We became friends on the movie and by the end we were like...feeling each other," Jones said, recalling how things started between him and his wife.

He further revealed that they didn't start dating immediately, even though they became very close in the first 5-6 weeks. Instead, they officially dated two months after they first met. And by the time of the said interview [November 2019], they were already engaged with each other.

Matt Jones and Kristen Hager's Wedding Didn’t Go as Planned

After growing his relationship with his then-girlfriend [now wife], Jones, together with her, planned to get married on April 4, 2020. However, things didn't go as planned for them, as they had to presumably postpone their wedding due to the rise of COVID-19 cases worldwide at the time.

The wedding was delayed for almost a year, and they eventually walked down the aisle on December 21, 2020. Addressing the fact, Jones took to his Instagram to write that the year 2020 wasn't so bad despite the delay and the pandemic because he got to marry Hager.

Both of them respectively posted their wedding pictures on their Instagram, too. In the snaps, they posed around a hill surrounded by green woods, with a sea and a beautiful sunset in the backdrop.

Matt Jones Has a Son from His Previous Marriage

Jones was previously married to access Kelly Daly from May 2012 to 2017. Together, they also welcomed a son named Jasper.

However, Jones and Daly's marriage didn't last long, as their relationship ended in a divorce. The reason for the split hasn't been revealed yet by both of them.
