Kaya Scodelario Appears to Be Completely Content with Her Husband Benjamin Walker

Kaya Scodelario has remained in a married relationship with her husband Benjamin Walker for quite some time.

The actress, however, has a dating history prior to her wedding with Walker.

Scodelario was previously in a relationship with actor Jack O'Connell, her co-star on the television show Skins.

Unfortunately, their relationship did not last long as the former pair called it quits in 2009.

After breaking up with O'Connell and before getting married to her spouse, Scodelario dated English actor Elliott Tittensor between 2009 and 2014.

She was reported to have a tattoo of Tittensor's name with the words "our love is unique" inked in Portuguese a year prior to her wedding with Walker.

On December 17, 2015, Scoldelario exchanged her vows with Walker at New York City Hall after getting engaged during a ceremony the preceding year.

Prior to their nuptials, the couple was reported to be together for twenty months.

The actress has a tattoo with the text "Ben" engraved on the inside of her left ring finger to mark her love for Walker.

Scodelario took to her Instagram to announce her marriage. She shared a picture of her wedding cake with a miniature of a man and a woman dressed as groom and bride, with a miniaturized bulldog sitting in between them.

"Happy New Year, everyone," She wrote in the opening of her lengthy caption, wishing "love, laughter, and cake" for everyone in the forthcoming new year.

Prior to the ceremony, Scodelario teased her fans and well-wisher by posting a photograph of herself sharing an intimate kiss with Walker.

The image, presumably from her bachelorette party, was captioned "Marry me @findthewalker."

The couple's eventual coming together dates back to the start of their long-distance relationship, initiated when Walker was living in New York while Scodelario was in her native London.

Her Husband Benjamin Walkers' Previous Relationship

Before falling in love with his wife Scodelario, Walker was fresh from his split with his former wife, Mamie Gummer, the daughter of esteemed actress Meryl Streep.

Walker first met Gummer while he was engaged with his Broadway show Dangerous Liaisons in April 2008.

After falling in love and dating each other for over a year, the couple got engaged in October 2009.

The former love birds got married in July 2011, however, their on-and-off relationship could not last more than a few years, and they divorced in 2013.

Born Benjamin Walker Davis on June 21, 1982, in Cartersville, Georgia, the actor opted to use his mom's last name as a different actor by the name of Benjamin Davis was registered with the Actors Guild.

He did his schooling at his native Cartersville, attending Cartersville High School and Interlochen Arts Academy before his 2014's graduation in the acting training program from Juilliard School in New York.

Walker is best known for his role as former American president Abraham Lincoln in the 2012 vampire flick Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

His other notable credits include plays like Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and American Psycho.

In addition, Walker's impressive resume includes movies like 2006's Flags of Our Fathers, where he worked alongside Clint Eastwood, In the Heart of the Sea released in 2015, and 2021's Liam Neeson starrer The Ice Road.
