Who is Kat Von D married to? This is one question that new fans and followers of the artist often ask.

For those not in the know, Mexican-American tattoo artist, entrepreneur, reality TV star, and singer Katherine Von Drachenberg, popularly known as Kat Von D, is currently married to her husband Rafael Reyes, otherwise known by his moniker Leafar Seyer.

According to a report published on Brides, Kat Von D married Seyer during a "sudden ceremony," back in 2018.

On February 14, of the same year, Kat Von D teased her engagement with her husband Seyer by posting a video on her official Instagram account.

In the clip, Seyer was seen flashing a shiny ring on his finger while a private plane flew over his head with a banner containing the text, "I Love You Kat Von D."

The social media post was captioned with the text "..so this just happened," followed by the hashtag #bestvalentinesdayever, which made the matter more interesting. 

Kat Von D's Life with Her Husband and Son

Her fans went into a frenzy after she announced her wedding with her then-boyfriend just six days after she made her engagement with Seyer official.

And in post's caption, Kat Von D announced she was getting married to her "soul's mate," "her mind's twin," and her "best friend."

On December 3, 2018, the tattoo artist took to her Instagram account and posted a picture of her husband, Seyer, holding an infant in his hands while a buggy stood behind him.

The child in the said picture, who lay in the arms of Seyer, was their son named Leafar Von Drachenberg Reyes. Their son, as of this writing, is two years old.

The post was accompanied by a lengthy text where Kat Von D announced the news of her motherhood.

Later, in the same writing, she thanked her "beloved friends+family, fans+followers," for their patience while the couple took time to announce "his long awaited arrival!"

Kat Von D also asked her followers to excuse her for her then-forthcoming online inactivity, as she wished to "take the next 40 days [the 4th trimester]," off. 

The tattooist cited her need to provide proper "focus on the baby" and the couple's "amazing relationship," which was in the initial period of "transitioning into amazing parenthood."

Interestingly, Leafer's exact date of birth was initially unknown; however, Kat Von D eventually made it public when she wished her son on his first birthday, i.e., on November 30, 2019.

Kat Von D's Whirlwind Romances Prior to Seyer

Before exchanging her vows with her current husband, Seyer, around three years ago, the tattoo artist was involved in a number of on-and-off relationships, including her marriage with fellow tattoo artist Oliver Peck.

That's right, Kat Von D's wedding with American author, Seyer, is her second marriage within eighteen years.

According to Nicki Swift, Kat Von D got married to her former husband, Peck, in 2003 but unfortunately, her married life with her ex-husband did not work out. Therefore, Kat Von D eventually divorced Peck in August 2007.

However, the ink artist did not stay single for long, as she was in a relationship with drummer Alex Orbison the following year. But their relationship ended before it could lead somewhere.

For two years after her break up with Orbison, Kat Von D dated popular Motley Crue drummer Nikki Sixx, which was followed by her love affair with reality TV personality Jesse James.

Kat Von D made her relationship with James official after she put out a tweet writing, "I think it's pretty obvious that we're dating."

The then couple even took matters a step ahead after they got engaged to each other in January 2011. Even though their relationship was initially long-term, things took a dramatic turn after they exchanged engagement rings.

The ex-couple announced their split shortly after getting engaged. However, their love life was back on track a month later. But the following month saw the former couple ending their engagement permanently.

The last known personality whom Kat Von D dated publicly prior to her engagement with her current husband is a well-known electronic music producer and a professional DJ, Joel Zimmerman, popularly known as Deadmau5.

The ex-couple met each other in 2012 and started dating each other. But her dating life with the popular musician was on-and-off. Their relationship ultimately ended in June 2013.
