Kaley Cuoco Shares Cute behind the Scenes Photos as ‘Meet Cute’ Wraps Filming
Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson are finally done shooting for their movie, Meet Cute.
The actress took to Instagram to let her almost seven-million-strong followers know they had completed shooting for their upcoming romantic comedy. She even let fans in on a few behind-the-scene photos on set.
Cuoco Shared Photos from Set
Cuoco celebrated the occasion with a series of photos featuring herself and Davidson sitting next to one another.
The first snap saw the duo from behind, still in costume, with Davidson's head resting on Cuoco's shoulder while she hugged him. Her blonde locks hung from her high-tied ponytail. All the while, the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and the tempting skyline made the horizon for the snap.
In the caption, she declared that Meet Cute was a wrap. "What an experience!" she gushed.
Sharing her love with everyone involved in the filmmaking process for the "special gem of a film," she announced she would do the movie over and over again, poking fun at the movie's plot.
The last line references her character, a Manhattan native named Sheila, who uses a time machine multiple times to fix details from her last date.
'Meet Cute' Coming Soon!
Mere hours after she'd announced that the movie was done shooting, she treated her fans to another sneak-peek at the set of her upcoming flick.
The actress was clad in a retro yellow checkered sundress with puffy sleeves, and caught walking beside her was Davidson, who sported an oversized short-sleeve denim shirt over a striped long-sleeve t-shirt.
The actor went for a pair of black trousers and a pair of black sneakers. The Big Bang Theory star, on the other hand, flaunted a pair of white sneakers.
Along with the photo, she updated her fans with the news of "Sheila & Gary," Cuoco and Davidson's characters from the movie, coming soon.
The Movie Was Rumored Since July
The movie first came to light in July 2021, when an exclusive Deadline report revealed that Cuoco and Davidson would be the face of a Noga Pnueli script.
The outlet also claimed that Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, and Rachel Reznick of Weed Road Pictures would produce the movie with Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon of Convergent Media.
The news of the movie came on the heels of a deal that Cuoco had recently closed with Warner Bros. TV Group for her production company, Yes, Norman. The contract extended their relationship by fifteen years, as per Deadline.
Since saying goodbye to The Big Bang Theory, Cuoco's career has been on an upward trajectory. The actress actively developed, executive produced and starred in the acclaimed HBO Max hit series The Flight Attendant, which is going into its second season.
For her work in the HBO series, she was nominated for a slew of awards, including a SAG for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series, and Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Critics Choice for Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Best Comedy Series, and the Golden Globes for Best Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy.
