New York Knicks Power Forward Julius Randle is a celebrated name in the NBA.

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Prestonwood Christian High School in Plano, Texas, and later joined Kentucky Wildcats Men's Basketball, an American college basketball team representing the University of Kentucky. 

Randle is now an established NBA player. He is also a family man with a beautiful wife and two kids.  

Julius Randle's Career in Short

In 2014, Randle was handed his big break when he was drafted to play for Los Angeles Lakers, a team known worldwide. But, unfortunately, the promising NBA player broke his right tibia in his first official match as a Lakers player.

Due to his injury, the promising youth saw only fourteen minutes of action and was sidelined for the rest of the season. However, he returned to action the next season and went on to play for four years for the Los Angeles-based team. 

On July 2, 2018, the Lakers announced to have released Randle, meaning he was let go of the team, making him a free agent.

The year 2018 also saw the promising player join New Orleans Pelicans in a two-year contract. But, unfortunately, after completing his first season with his new team, Randle declined to exercise his second-year contract and was a free agent again.

On July 9, 2019, another NBA outfit New York Knicks announced the signing of Randle in a three-year deal worth $63 million. After his impressive display for the new team, Randle was offered a contract extension worth $117 million on a four-year deal in August 2021.   

In his personal life, the Texan basketball player is married to his wife Kendra Shaw and is now a father of two sons.  

Who Is Julius Randle's Wife Kendra Shaw?

Shaw is a longtime sweetheart of basketball player Randle who he met during their days in college. She is a businesswoman and runs her apparel brand Kalore, a company based right out of New York City. 

Shaw's business house is widely known for its specialization in women's clothing, including tops, suits, pants, among others. As per their official website, Kalore was created to empower women to feel sexy, confident, and fierce. 

Entrepreneur and wife to NBA superstar Shaw is from a small town in Kentucky and was raised by a single mother. Before establishing herself in the American fashion world, the CEO of Kalore spend years studying fashion design and merchandising.

Randle proposed Shaw in 2016 during their vacation in Santorini, Greece. In December of the same year, the lovebirds became parents for the first time after their son Kayden was born.

More good news followed as the loving couple got married the following year. The wedding ceremony was attended by several of Randle's teammates and childhood friends.

Kendra Shaw Gave Birth to a Baby Boy

Earlier this year, Shaw took to Instagram to announce that she was pregnant for the second time.

In June, Shaw posted a cute picture of Randle and herself flaunting a baby bump. The then parents-to-be were seen wearing matching outfits at an outdoor location with city buildings as the backdrop.

Recently, Shaw gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Jayce Carter Randle. A post on her official Instagram account shows the newborn wrapped in a black cloth, sleeping on top of an NBA jersey with the name and number Randle 30 printed over it.
