Isaiah Rashad Responds to Leaked Gay Tape at Coachella 2022

Isaiah Rashad has been the talk of the town since his sex tape release in February 2022. The video started rumors about him being gay and raised questions about his sexuality, something he has not discussed publicly.
The leak had turned his life upside down for a while. But now, after over a month of silence on the matter, Rashad has finally broken his silence.
And he did that in the classiest way possible, in front of one of the biggest crowds possible — during a performance at 2022 Coachella.
Isaiah Rashad’s Response Regarding Leaked Sex Tape and Sexuality
On April 16, 2022, Rashad was slated to perform at the 2022 Coachella in California. With everyone in the audience expecting him to say at least something on the haunting subject, Rashad delivered on the expectations.
Before his performance began, a video montage was put up on the giant screen behind the stage. It was a video featuring voiceovers from hip hop legends like The Game and Joe Budden, who talked about the alleged sex tape.

One voice in the montage revealed the intentions behind the sex tape and its leak.
"The purpose of doing that was to embarrass him," the voice said. However, as the person behind the voice put it, the plan to bring him down had backfired royally.
Another voice added to this, saying, "When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s up on the charts now."
Then Rashad stepped onto the stage and started his set. The first song, 'RIP Young,' went without an emotional response from the rapper.
However, as he started his second song, 'Wat's Wrong,' the audience saw he was getting emotional. They gave him a big applause, and he stood there, soaking it all in for a moment.
"I've seen y'all messages and all that shit, all the positivity," he said. "Y'all [expletive] kept me alive these last couple months."
With this, he alluded to the difficulty he had had to face since the leaked video went viral and possibly provided an insight into his mental state over that period.
After this, the remaining set went without hiccups, and Rashad gave the fans some electric performances.
Fans’ Response after His Coachella Performance
Twitter was buzzing during and after Rashad's performance at Coachella. And this buzz was almost entirely positive.
Many fans praised the rapper's commitment to his art and his determination not to let the noise get the best of him.
One Twitter user summed it up perfectly, saying, "Isaiah rashad smart af! Didn’t let the antics force him to respond out of fear and waited to Coachella on stage to address what happened to him. Kudos to him."
These positive responses have been a consistent theme in this entire fiasco. Even when the tape first leaked back in February, where someone who looked like him was seen involved in sexual acts with two other men, people's response on Twitter was good.
Even though few had expected the leak when it happened, they still thought it was not their business to judge Rashad for something like that. This faction was comprised of many industry people and fellow rappers as well.
Despite what Rashad and the video montage said at Coachella, the rapper, who has a son and a daughter, is still yet to explicitly address his sexuality.
