More About The Rift Tour
The official webpage of the event gave details of the upcoming musical concert. The show is divided into five choices to make the concert available worldwide, each corresponding to a different time and region.
The first show is scheduled to start on August 6, 2021, at 6 PM ET. The second will begin on August 7, 2021, at 2 PM ET.
The remaining three shows would all be available on August 8, 2021. However, their time slot differs from one another, with the third scheduled for 12 AM ET, the fourth for 10 AM ET, and the fifth for 6 PM ET.
All the showtimes promise a musical experience with a special playlist and a playable Grande character.
To enjoy the show to the fullest, the event organizers recommend players choose their suitable showtime and arrive at the concert 60 minutes prior.
As per the official announcement, the Rift Tour Playlist would be live 30 minutes before each show. And the concert would start with Fortnite-themed popular tracks.
Aside from just the show, the players would also have access to Grande-inspired items in the games shop. The items would include Grande's outfit and a yellow backpack named Piggy Smallz Back Bling, created after the musical artist's real-life piglet pet.
The game would also provide the Cuddly Cloudcruiser commemorative Umbrella to all the attendants for free.
Ariana Grande Shared Her Second Avatar
While the official teaser trailer from the game gave glimpses of only one character of Grande, the '7 rings' singer took to Instagram to flaunt her avatar's other look on August 1, 2021.
The second skin featured her crystal dress with matching boots and her iconic ponytail. As soon as she posted the gallery of videos, friends and fans showed their support for her new venture.
Tony Award-winning actress Marissa Jaret Winokur wrote that her kid could help her figure out the game. She added, "can't wait." Fellow songwriter Nija Charles also commented, "Omg yes I will be tuning in on my switch."
Before Grande, musicians such as Travis Scott and Marshmello hosted similar shows for Fortnite.
Scott made history with the most influential live audience in Fortnite in 2020. He drew over 12.3 million concurrent players with his “Astronomical” performance.
A year before that, 10.7 million fans had logged into the game to witness Marshmello's musical performance.
