Travis Scott Drops Surprise Merch before His Highly Anticipated Fragment X Air Jordan 1 Release
Rapper Travis Scott surprised those who were eagerly waiting for the availability of his TS x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 shoes.
On July 28, 2021, the Houston native, 29, took to Instagram to drop a video promoting Cactus Jack's goods made in collaboration with Fragment.
In the video, Scott and musician Hiroshi Fujiwara came together, flaunting Cactus Jack's outfit, as the former asked the Japanese musician to get him out of a rainy, deserted place over a phone conversation.
In reply, the fellow artist advised him to take a deep breath and use the Fragment product, after which a car arrived to pick Scott up immediately.
The Cactus Jack's collection consists of a letterman, selvage denim pants, full-zip hoodies, and a selection of short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, including two made in partnership with Kaws.
In addition, the drop is rounded out with accessories and home goods like beanies, socks, a duffle, a Zippo, and a rug.

The surprise video was immediately followed up by a Twitter post where Scott, whose full name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, announced the availability of TS x Fragment x Air Jordan 1.
In the post, he shared an exclusive look of customized Air Jordan shoes with a tricolor palette comprising white, blue, and black. The shoes are again customized in collaboration with Cactus Jack and Fragment.
"I made a small amount of these for the gang and I had to make sure that I save some for guys love y’all so much," he wrote in the post, dropping a link to his website.
But as of this writing, the limited edition TS x Fragment AJ1 High OG is already sold out on his website. That being said, his merch collection comprises items ranging between $24 and $925 upon visiting the website.
"It sold out in one minute. Where do I apply for the gang job?" one fan who could not get his hands to the limited shoes tweeted.
Another added, "[Too] bad all the resellers got to them first!!! [I've] been signed in sent info, then saw that 2 resellers running bots copped 200 pair each! Not much of chance huh. I know it's not in your control like a PlayStation! But, hurts as a fan and collector! keep the fire music coming."
