A 2022 report from Page Six states that Waterhouse, the star from the 2016 film The Bad Batch, dated Luna for about a year before moving on with Batman star Robert Pattinson.

In December 2014, Luna and his then-partner, Sodi, announced they ended their marriage after five years.

From their marriage, the couple shares two children: Jerónimo, born on August 12, 2008, and Fiona, born on July 1, 2010. The former couple named their daughter after Luna's mother.

"With much sadness we are announcing that we came to a mutual agreement to separate," the pair said in a public statement released in Spanish.

"We want people to know that while this is a difficult decision for us, we are doing it in a way that's cordial and respectful."
