Charlotte Crosby's Dramatic Exit from MTV’s ‘Geordie Shore’
After the success of the American reality series Jersey Shore, the British version, Geordie Shore, arrived in 2011.
Geordie Shore is largely based in Newcastle and follows party animals who live under the same roof spending their summer drinking, partying, and bed-hopping.
The show’s OG cast members were wild and did pretty much anything for the cameras. Over time, the show earned its reputation as one of the most scandalous TV shows.
But after some time, the cast members were tired of their partying ways and left the show, including Charlotte Letitia Crosby, who is famously known as Charlotte Crosby.
For those wondering “when did Charlotte leave the show" and why, here is a breakdown of all the details.
Charlotte Crosby’s Exit from ‘Geordie Shore’
In 2016, Crosby announced her decision to leave the show after 12 seasons. According to reports, she left after falling out with her then-boyfriend, Gaz Beadle.
Beadle had cheated on her with Jemma Lucy on Ex on the Beach, while Crosby experienced an ectopic pregnancy back home as she waited for him.
Upon learning about Beadle’s cheating, Crosby terminated their relationship for good and decided that she needed to distance herself from the show.
The reality star took to Twitter to announce her departure and launched into a furious row with Beadle.

“Sadly, because a certain some1 can’t admit to being in the wrong and have to write a short story full of excuses. So I have made the very hard decision to leave the show, it’s something I have gone back and forth with for a while now," said Crosby.
She added that she was excited to watch Ex on the Beach and find out about all the girls he slept with behind her back.
However, Beadle fired back at Crosby, claiming that they were single when he jetted away to film the series.
He also shared that he offered to fly home and thought of her every day while he was away.
Charlotte Crosby Returns to ‘Geordie Shore’
After walking away from the scandalous show, Crosby starred in her own MTV series, The Charlotte Show, and found much success.
But a few days ago, after MTV announced a reunion with OG cast members, including Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei, Crosby announced she would be part of it.
According to Daily Mail, the reunion series will feature “a group holiday, a long-awaited wedding and a party in the house.”
“I always said I would be up for taking part in a reunion show and made no secret that Geordie Shore holds a special place in my heart,” said Crosby of her decision to return.
She added that she was excited to reconnect and remember their old days with her favorite people and lifelong friends.
Last year, Crosby appeared on Geordie Shore’s 10-year, two-part anniversary specials, Ten Years on the Toon. During her appearance alongside James Tindale, Nathan Henry, and Chloe Ferry, she opened up to Henry and Ferry about her departure.
She shared that it had been difficult for her to walk away without saying bye to the house and her co-stars.
The reality star added that she had fond memories of her time on the show and would never turn her back on it.
