Chaney Jones was thrust into the spotlight after news of her dating Kanye West got out. Though it was mostly speculation initially, Jones and West have since confirmed their relationship on social media.

West seemingly went Instagram official with Jones at the beginning of March 2022 when he shared a screenshot of a post from The Shade Room to his Instagram.

The caption on the post read, "It appears #Ye and his new boo #ChaneyJones are going strong."

When West shared the screenshot, he used a black emoji on the caption. The 'Donda' hitmaker also left a black heart emoji in the comment section of The Shade Room's post.

Jones also joined in the fun by writing "My love," followed by a black heart and fingers crossed emoji in the comment section.

Before West got together with Jones, he was dating Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox. However, their relationship was short-lived, and it was confirmed on Valentine's day that they were no longer together.

Shortly afterward, several outlets reported West had moved on from Fox and was dating Jones.

Their relationship received even more attention when they were photographed shopping together at Bal Harbour in Miami on February 22, 2022.

A week later, Jones shared a snapshot of herself and West on her Instagram Stories. The pair were dressed in all black, with Jones sporting a classic tank top and sunglasses.

West's relationship with both Fox and Jones received widespread coverage. Particularly because of his ongoing divorce procedure with Kim Kardashian.

And when it was revealed that West was dating Jones, many pointed out how similar she looked to the reality star and dubbed her Kim Kardashian Lookalike.

This further fueled the speculation that West still was not over Kardashian. He had also sent a truck full of red roses to his estranged wife on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

Jones did not seem to fancy being compared to Kardashian and took to Instagram to share five facts about herself.

She revealed she was European, French, German, West African, Nigerian, and Ghanian.

She added she was the COO of First State Behavioral Health and was currently getting her master's in counseling while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Jones also took the opportunity to end the rumors of having gone under the knife.

"No I have never had surgery on my face, I was born like this," she wrote.

However, she has also been very open about her history with surgery. In a separate post, she shared she had undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift.

But she also added that she had been "thick before surgery," and that she had never been in denial about surgery.

People had different reactions to these aforementioned posts. While many thought she just wanted to share about herself since she had popped into the scene out of nowhere, many thought she was throwing shade at Kardashian.
