After finding fame on TikTok, Addison Rae forayed into films and music.

She released her debut song ‘Obsessed’ in March 2021 and made her acting debut in He’s All That, a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 film She’s All That

And it looks like she might make her TV series debut on the highly anticipated Euphoria season 2 finale, especially after fans demanded her cameo.

Fans Want an Addison Rae Cameo

The campaign for her appearance started after she teased fans with moody photos.

In one photo, Rae posed in a dimly lit stairwell wearing white angel wings on her back, and in another, she had a lampshade on her head, and in the third, she was sprawled on the floor.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the photos and took to Twitter to discuss them.

“Addison, are u in Euphoria?” asked a fan while another commented, “It’s giving me Euphoria.”

As if the photos weren’t suspicious enough, hours before the season finale aired, she tweeted, “Don’t forget to watch Euphoria tonight,” accompanied by a wink face emoji.

The tweet convinced some fans that she had definitely joined as a cast member, but Rae remained tight-lipped and confirmed nothing.

Fans Unhappy About Addison Rae as a Cast

As much as her fans were excited about the crossover between one of the biggest TikTok stars in the world and the most popular show currently, not everyone was excited about it.

Some fans of the show are troubled at the thought of Rae appearing on the show, with many threatening to stop watching the show.

These disgruntled netizens have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts on Rae’s cameo.

One user wrote, “if Addison Rae gets cast in Euphoria, I will stop watching don’t disrespect Euphoria like that fr.”

Another user commented, "WAIT there’s NO WAY Addison Rae is going to be in Euphoria, her acting sucks. You’re telling me she’s gunna be acting with Zendaya?”

These people have even started a petition to ensure that the creators of the show never cast the TikTok star in the season final or the upcoming season.

Out of the 7500 signatures required, 6870 people have signed it as of writing.

Addison Rae Wants to Be In 'Euphoria'

But as far as the actress is concerned, she would love to be a part of the show.

During an interview with MTV in January 2022, she gushed about her passion for the teen drama series.

“I would love to do Euphoria. I really just love all the girls that are on it. Sydney’s amazing, Alexa’s amazing, obviously Zendaya's amazing,” said Rae.

She added she had met Alexa Demie before and shared that she was “really really sweet” and would love to work with her.

Make sure to tune into the show’s final episode to find out if Rae is actually in it or was just teasing her fans.
