Paige Butcher welcomed a new baby boy with fiance, Eddie Murphy!

The Big Momma’s House star and her husband-to-be welcomed their baby boy on 30 November 2018, and the news was announced in an official statement from Eddie’s publicist, Arnold Robinson.

Revealing the weight of the healthy baby as six lbs., 11 oz., measuring 19 inches long, the statement unveiled the good health of Paige and her son,

Both mother and son are doing well.

They named their baby, Max Charles Murphy suggesting that the middle name was a tribute to Eddie’s older brother, Charlie Murphy, who died of leukemia the year before.

Isn’t that beautiful? Plus the newborn is Paige’s second child with Eddie Murphy after they welcomed their daughter, Izzy Oona Murphy in 2016.

It might be the second time for Paige, age 39, as a mom, but Eddie has quite some years of experience with newborns having eight children from previous flings over the years.

The comedian first experienced fatherhood with Paulette McNeely and has his oldest son, Eric, age 29. He soon welcomed son Christian when he was dating ex-girlfriend Tamara Hood. And Eddie was showered with blessings from his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy with children, Bria, Miles Mitchell, Shayne Audra, Zola Ivy, and Bella Zahra. Oh and he also shares daughter Angel with Spice Girl’s Mel B.

So the addition of Max was another sweet news for Paige to add to the Murphy family after getting engaged to Eddie in September this year when the model was pregnant with his child.

The two got engaged after six years of dating, but nobody got to grab the details of the proposal as the couple has been laying low from the spotlight. In fact, Paige even told Vanity Fair in 2013 about staying away from the media,

I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there… I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.

So that probably means that we won’t be awwing over any adorable pictures of baby Max any soon. But that’s fine; at least we know they're happy without bothering to let people in on their lives.Â
