Rahel Solomon is a co-anchor of CBS3’s show named Eyewitness News and This Morning which is the station’s popular morning newscast. She is also the host of Eyewitness News at Noon. Previously, she worked as a multimedia journalist for WSAZ-TV in Charleston, West Virginia.

Talking about her career, Rahel landed her first reporter job in Charleston, West Virginia. Later on, she began her professional career at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia as a production assistant.

Back in September of 2015, Rahel first joined CBS 3 as a general assignment reporter. Before her weekday morning assignment, she had been an anchor of the weekend morning news as well.

She came to Channel 3 from KCNC-TV, the CBS-owned station where she had been a reporter and fill-in anchor since 2014.  While she was working there, she had covered the trial of Aurora Theater Shooter James Holmes and Colorado flooding in 2014 for CBS This Morning. After a year in 2015, she was named the Colorado Association of Black Journalists’ 2015 Broadcast Journalist of the Year.
