The 51-year-old is best known for his role of Chief Mathias in the Western crime drama Longmire and has been entertaining the folks by his multiple on-screen appearances. He made his on-screen debut in the comedy-drama series, Tequila, and Bonetti in 1992 and later got a movie break in a psychological thriller film, Silent Fall in 1994.
He Earned Recognition From Into The West
Zahn was cast as a Running Fox in TNT miniseries, Into the West in 2005, which seemed to be the milestone of his career. In 2006, he got the opportunity to cast on The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines, the franchise of The Librarian.
He has also appeared in several episodes of a black comedy–crime drama anthology series Fargo, portraying the character of Hanzee Dent in 2015. His notable works in the television series include Ringer (2011), I'm in Love with a Church Girl (2013), The Red Road (2014), and The Son (2017).

Furthermore, he has made various appearances in the TV series; Timeless as Native American U.S. Marshall Grant Johnson in the episode "The Murder of Jesse James," Toshaway in AMC Network's The Son, Akecheta, the leader of the Ghost Nation, in HBO's Westworld.
His performance as a leading cast member in "Kiksuya" in the eighth episode, which focused exclusively on the character's backstory, was hugely appreciated as he delivered a "heart-wrenching, formidable performance" that elevated the episode to become as one of the best in the entire series.
Talking about his movie roles, Zahn narrated the role of Jack in the 2011 feature film, Bloodline.

In 2017, when he was working for the second season of the Westworld, he was hospitalized due to an off-set injury.
Zahn fell at his home and suffered a brain injury. He was then reportedly rushed to the ICU with brain trauma.

Following the medical emergency involving a performer in a recurring role, the production of the series was paused for a week because of his injury.

The long-haired actor was born as Zahn Tokiya-ku McClarnon on 24 October 1965 in Denver, Colorado.
