Despite sharing a humorous picture which was created by the members of the comedy sketch group, 1491s  on his Instagram in Valentine's day 2018, and being a constant face in the Television industry for more than fourteen years, Native American Lakota-Irish actor, Zahn McClarnon's married life is a source of gossip for many. 

The 51-year-old is best known for his role of Chief Mathias in the Western crime drama Longmire and has been entertaining the folks by his multiple on-screen appearances. He appears in the part of Akecheta, a Ghost Nation elder on the HBO's science fiction Western television series, Westworld. As of 2018, he worked in a Canadian action thriller film, Braven

He made his on-screen debut in the comedy-drama series, Tequila, and Bonetti in 1992 and later got a movie break in a psychological thriller film, Silent Fall in 1994.

He Earned Recognition From Into The West

Zahn was cast as a Running Fox in TNT miniseries, Into the West in 2005, which seemed to be the milestone of his career. In 2006, he got the opportunity to cast on The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines, the franchise of The Librarian.

He has also appeared in several episodes of a black comedy–crime drama anthology series Fargo, portraying the character of Hanzee Dent in 2015. His notable works in the television series include Ringer (2011), I'm in Love with a Church Girl (2013)The Red Road (2014), and The Son (2017).

From the year 2012 to 2017, the Lakota-Irish actor portrayed the character of Mathias as the Chief of Indian Tribal Police of the Cheyenne reservation, in Longmire, a Netflix television series.

Moving on, Zahn then portrayed Hanzee Dent in the second season of the TV series Fargo, where his performance recieved critical acclaim.

Furthermore, he has made various appearances in the TV series; Timeless as Native American U.S. Marshall Grant Johnson in the episode "The Murder of Jesse James," Toshaway in AMC Network's The Son, Akecheta, the leader of the Ghost Nation, in HBO's Westworld.

His performance as a leading cast member in "Kiksuya" in the eighth episode, which focused exclusively on the character's backstory, was hugely appreciated as he delivered a "heart-wrenching, formidable performance" that elevated the episode to become as one of the best in the entire series.

Talking about his movie roles, Zahn narrated the role of Jack in the 2011 feature film, Bloodline.

Production Of Westworld Postponed Because Of His Injury

In 2017, when he was working for the second season of the Westworld, he was hospitalized due to an off-set injury.

Zahn fell at his home and suffered a brain injury. He was then reportedly rushed to the ICU with brain trauma.

Following the medical emergency involving a performer in a recurring role, the production of the series was paused for a week because of his injury.

Zhan's Name Is As Famous As Him

The long-haired actor was born as Zahn Tokiya-ku McClarnon on 24 October 1965 in Denver, Colorado.

When you think he is famous just for his onscreen influence, then you have been mistaken as his name is also pretty famous and holds a special meaning behind it. His first name gives an ode to his maternal great-great-uncle, Frank "Frances" B. Zahn, who was an artist. Similarly, the middle name holds the meaning of the first one to come.

He completed his education at Omaha Central High School in 1986. He has an older twin brother in his family.

His father is Irish, who used to work at Glacier National Park for the National Park Service and his Hunkpapa Lakota mother used to teach therapy in a rehabilitation clinic in Rosebud.

Zahn regards his mother as a source of inspiration, strength, proudness and demonstrates his love through Instagram. On the occasion of mother's day in 2017, he uploaded a vintage picture of his mother and wished her on a special day.

Zahn has not paraded his romantic life to the eyes of the media. However, he posted a humorous valentine picture on his Instagram.

On the occasion of the Valentines's day 2018, he shared a mimicking picture from the vintage posture. The posture was recreated by Dallas Goldtooth and Bobby Wilson, the members of the comedy sketch group, 1491s.
