American journalist Sam Rubin met his second wife after the end of his first marriage. Meet his new wife, who he once called 'everything but red carpet partner.' 

The California native is widely known as the entertainment reporter for the KTLA Morning News, which airs on the CW-affiliated KTLA network. He also serves as a correspondent for ReelzChannel's fast-paced half an hour long entertainment program, Hollywood Dailies.

The veteran reporter was born on 16 February 1960 in San Diego, California. He belongs to White Ethnicity.

He received Bachelor In Arts from Occidental College in 1982.

Sam began his career from the KTLA network in 1991 and has been serving as the on-air daily entertainment anchor for the 'Number 1' rated entertainment program KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles.

Joining Reelz Channel in 2009, he created and produced 120 episodes of celebrity round-table talk show, Hollywood Uncensored With Sam Rubin. Sam Rubin's Controversy With Samuel Jackson

On 10 February 2014, During a live on-air interview with actor Samuel L. Jackson, Rubin accidentally asked him about the grand success of  The Super Bowl Trailer which advertised at the Super Bowl. Sadly this trailer didn't include Samuel but his co-star Laurence Fishburne. The incident offended Samuel by every means.

But like a professional, Sam Rubin revised his apologies to him referring that he'd been talking about another commercial; Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which had featured Samuel. Adding the fact of Jackson's misinterpretations in the apologies, Rubin, however, accepted the fact that it was a very amateur mistake.

First Married Life Ended In Divorce

Regardless of his successful career, he did not enjoy success in his first marriage. Sam was first married to Julie Anderson on 9th January 1988. The private Catholic wedding ceremony was held in front of family members.

They had first met on a blind date and tied the knot just 18 of their meeting.

However, the couple's married life came to an end through a divorce after 18 years of togetherness in 2006. He shares two children with his former wife; both daughters, aged 21 and 15.

Enjoys Prosperity In Second Marriage With Leslie Rubin

A year after his first marriage ended, he met Leslie Rubin, a movie studio lawyer. The duo immediately felt a connection, and after a brief dating period, Sam and Leslie tied the knots in 2007 in a private wedding.

The couple welcomed two children in quick succession, a daughter in 2008 and a son a year later.

Despite having been married for more than a decade and having two children together, the couple's adoration towards each other remains intact. In 2015, he attended the red carpet event of Critics Choice Award flanked by his wife and humorously stated her as "My everything but red carpet partner."

The couple resides together with their two children in New York, and Sam's two children from his first marriage also are a part of the family.
