American journalist Poppy Harlow confessed; no matter how busy she becomes in her profession, family always comes first for her.  

The Minneapolis native is best known for her reporting at CNN and Forbes.com. Poppy co-anchors the weekday 9-11am ET edition of CNN Newsroom. She was previously a business correspondent at CNN, CNN International, and HLN; an anchor for CNNMoney.com; and a Forbes.com Video Network anchor, reporter, and producer.

As of 2018, Poppy is not afraid to intertwine her motherhood alongside her career as a reporter, which has allowed her to provide news with more genuine emotions.

However, soon after on 7 August 2017, Cnn's Poppy Harlow responded to the tennis star's honesty by thanking her. She explained how Serena's post about motherhood and postpartum resonated with many mothers including Poppy herself.

She also opened up how she feels it every day but never talked about it prior to that moment. Barely holding her tears in her eyes, she continued reading Serena's heartfelt post until she finally finished it and thanked her for being the voice behind many mothers out there.
