The Oberlin College alum is best recognized for being married to explorer and Tv show host, Josh Gates. She had a short-acting stint at Hollywood where she portrayed minor roles in the movie Archer House and Destination Truth.

Hallie was born on 26 January 1981 in Boston to father Rock and mother Stana Gnatovich. Her mother, Stana is also a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Hallie, age 37, grew alongside two siblings(both brothers): Steven and a brother who uses Simongnat as his moniker on his Instagram.

Following on her mother’s footsteps, the Boston native pursued a career in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counselling after receiving her Master’s degree from Alliant International University in 2010.

For her BA, She had attended Oberlin College between 2000 and 2004 to study Theater.

It was in the set of Syfy’s Destination Truth - where she was serving as a researcher - she met her future husband, Josh Gates. Josh hosts Destination Truth and is a world-renowned photographer, adventurer, explorer, TV personality, and among other things.

The pair tied the knot on 13 September 2014 at the Hidden Pound luxury resort in Kennebunkport, Maine surrounded by close family and friends.

Her husband took to Facebook to announce the news of their marriage by posting a picture of a car with the 'Just Married' sign with the caption:

Little over a year after their marriage, the pair welcomed a baby named Owen on 12 February 2016. 

The news about Gates and Gnatovich’s first child was revealed in the most fantastic way possible.

Gnatovich, untying the happy story about Gates becoming a father happened in the middle of filming an episode of Expedition Unknown!

She approached him via satellite phone, all while the camera crew was still filming! And the team took over the chance of capturing Gates’ priceless expression which was indeed a very beautiful sight to watch.
