For British talent, Stacey Solomon, everything comes easy--whether that be singing or enthralling the audiences ahead of the bright lights. The Dagenham native is a British singer and performer who rose to fame after finishing as the second runner-up in the sixth edition of 'The X Factor.'  Cashing on her X Factor fame, Stacey has gone on to establish herself in the music industry.

Apart from her singing career, Stacey is also a popular TV personality and presenter, working on ITV’s Loose Women as a panelist.

Stacey Solomon's Parents Divorced When She Was 9 Years Of Age

Stacey Chanelle Claire Solomon was born on 4 October 1989 in Dagenham, London. She was born to father David Solomon, a photographer and mother Fiona who worked as a nurse.

The singer carries a mixed ethnicity, with her father bearing an Iraqi-Jewish and Polish descendent and while her mother is English. Unfortunately, when she was just 9 years of age, her parents divorced for unknown reasons.

Stacey grew up with two siblings in her family, a sister Jemma Solomon and a brother Matthew Solomon with whom she attended King Solomon High School.

Stacey's Big Break Came After ‘The X Factor’ In 2009

Growing up she always wanted to be a singer and performer. And following up on her dreams, a young Stacey auditioned for the world-renowned talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2009. She drew a lot of attention from her sizzling performances on the show before coming third overall.

On the show, along with other finalists, she released a cover song of legendary Michael Jackson’s ‘You Are Not Alone.’ The song became a mega-hit gaining number one spot on the UK Singles Chart and the Irish Singles Chart.

After getting the limelight she deserved from the show, Stacey released her first solo album ‘Shy’ in 2016 which was soon followed by ‘My Big Mistake,' her second album. Meanwhile, Stacey was also a staple in various reality shows, and won the tenth edition of the famous reality television show ‘I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2010.

Stacey Solomon Has Two Sons From Her Previous Partners

While her professional life has been a bed full of roses, her personal life is more like thorns in the roses. 

Stacey had already been a part of a failed relationship when she auditioned for the X Factor.  She auditioned as a 20-year-old single mom, trying to follow up on her dreams while providing her son, Zachary with a better life.

Her son Zach was born from her first relationship with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox.

After Dean, Stacey was engaged with Aaron Barnham. They were together for five years from 2009 to 2014 and seemed destined to get married even getting engaged in December 2011. Moreover, she also had another son, Leighton with her partner.

However, the unlucky in love singer's engagement failed to get converted to marriage.

The singer was then seen dating Steve-O, an actor and stunt performer, for a brief period of time in 2015. Their relationship lasted just for six months and the duo split mutually claiming their inability in maintaining a long-distance relationship.

Is Stacey Solomon Married in 2018? Husband?

After undergoing through numerous failed relationships, Stacey finally seems to have found her perfect match. She is currently enjoying the company of English actor and presenter Joe Swash with the pair dating since November 2015.

In her show ‘Loose Women’ in September 2018, Stacey confessed her liking for her partner Joe comparing him to her own father, saying:

"I have found my dad as my partner. It's so creepy. They've got parallel lives. They grew up in the same area, they lost their dads at the same age, they have the same character."

The couple seems to be in a good place right now, with Stacey deciding to move together with Joe most recently in 2018. The Driving Home For Christmas singer also admitted on ITV daytime show in October 2018 that she definitely wants some more babies with partner Joe before getting married:

"I definitely want more children and it does make me broody when I see people have babies,"..."We are like the same person, we come from really similar backgrounds and we've got so much in common. He's absolutely lovely, I'm so lucky."

Stacey and Joe show a lot of support and affection for each other publicly which just demonstrates the strong bond the couple share. And having had experienced failures in her personal life, she seems to have learned how to make a relationship work.

She and Joe are not married yet but reflecting on their demeanor it is easy to guess they are soon going to. And all we can do is hope Stacey finds her peace with Joe and unlike her previous relations, will end up making Joe her husband in the near future!
