Carrying a passion for acting, Evanna, aged 27, would often go to auditions, and after an apparent bad audition, her mother even suggested that she leave acting and go back to college. But it wasn’t long before her hard work struck and she got the role in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix of Luna Lovegood as she auditioned at a casting call in London in January 2006.

Evanna was cast at the age of 14 after auditioning against 15,000 other girls and a screen test with the lead actor, Daniel Radcliffe. The sixth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix became Evanna’s debut screen performance in 2007. It was two years later when Evanna starred again as Luna in the sixth installment of the movie series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
