American actor Daniel Sunjata has always stayed hush-hush when it comes to his love life; this swirled gay rumors around him. But the rumors were put into rest when he was speculated to be dating someone after being spotted together several times.  

The Illinois native is an American movie and TV show actor who is best known as Franco Rivera on the series Rescue Me and as Paul Briggs on the USA Network’s series Graceland.

His appearance can also be seen in several other TV shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Law and Order SVU, Smash and Notorious. Moving onto the big screens, he is seen in several movies which include Bad Company, The Dark Knight Rises, Devil Wears Prada, and many more.

Besides being an actor, he is also a voice artist who has lent his voice to the video game character Nick Lander/James Randall in TOCA Race Driver.

Adopted As Child, Daniel Sunjata Holds Biracial Identity

Born on 30 December 1971 at Evanston, Illinois, Daniel Sunjata Condon was adopted as a son in the family of Catherine and Bill Condon. He also has a sister from his adoptive family named Leah Condon.

Regarding his biological parents, it is said that his mother was a white teenager and his father was black.

He did his schooling from Mount Carmel High School and later completed his undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and the University of Louisiana. Adding more to his education, he further pursued a Master’s degree in fine arts from NYU’S Tisch School of Arts.

In 2000, he appeared in the drama D.C. and in 2002 he guest-starred in Law & Order SUV. After this, he soon bagged the role as Darren Lemming, a gay baseball player, in the Tony Award-winning Broadway play Take Me Out. The actor says the gay role helps in engendering tolerance. He even won a Theatre World Award for his breakout performance as a gay baseball player in 2003.

He also starred in various TV shows like The Bronx is Burning, as Nurse Eli in Grey’s Anatomy.

Between the year 2012-2013, he featured in movies like The Dark Knight Rises, Gone, and One for the Money. Within that year he bagged another of his popular role in the tv show Graceland.

Daniel Sunjata Gives Big NAY On Making Girlfriends & Dating At Workplace

The only closest we’ve ever heard from the low-key actor talk about dating is in an interview with Buzzfeed. When asked about YAY or NAY about dating in the workplace he replied:

Dating in the workplace for me is a huge nay. I've had a personal rule about no romantic involvements with people that I work closely with ever since I was in grad school at NYU. Just always seemed like a bad idea — if it goes south, it affects the entire environment.

Well, one thing is clear Daniel ain’t getting married to anyone he shares on-screen with. And his future wife is definitely going to be someone out of his workplace!
