Usher is going to be a dad again!

The R&B crooner and his girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea, are expecting their second child together. Usher, who hosted the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, made the announcement, and during the red carpet, Goicoechea showed off her burgeoning baby bump.

The couple posed for the picture with Usher cradling his girlfriend’s belly.

The news comes just eight months after they welcomed their daughter, Sovereign Bo, last September. The 42-year-old singer’s new baby will be his fourth child. He has sons Usher V, 13, and Naviyd Ely, 12, who he shares with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

The ‘Yeah’ singer introduced his newborn daughter to the world during a virtual appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier in November, sharing a photo of himself kissing his newborn’s forehead.

As for Usher’s sons, they were excited about being big brothers and “coping well” with having a new baby sister. The older brothers were also a little too protective.

Man, my boys are really enjoying having another girl in the house. Me and Jenn are very, very happy to celebrate this period in life.

Third Time Is the Charm

The musical heartthrob is currently with his third longtime partner. The pair was first linked when rumors circulated in October 2019 after being spotted on a date to a Hollywood Bowl concert in Oct. 2019.

Though neither confirmed whether or not they were dating, a photo posted by photographer Jennifer Johnson on Instagram of Goicoechea kissing Usher’s cheek hinted a romance.

Goicoechea is a music executive and currently serves as Vice President of A&R at Epic Records, which has represented several prominent artists, including Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello, Travis Scott, Meghan Trainor, and others.

She also worked for ASCAP, a not-for-profit performance-rights organization, before her current role.

The two are pretty private about their relationship, with neither of them ever talking about their love life or how it all started. It’s likely they met through their connections in the music industry or met at an exclusive event.

The two were friends before they were linked with one another. In December 2016, Goicoechea tagged Usher on an Instagram snapshot.

Usher’s Previous Relationships

Although the former Voice coach is pretty tightlipped about his personal life, Usher got candid about his failed marriage with his first wife, Foster, and the subsequent custody battle on an episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter with Oprah Winfrey.

In the hour-long interview, the singer revealed that not many people believed in their relationship, and one of them was his mother, which pained him.

The two got married in a private ceremony after their first ceremony was canceled hours before it began.

He confessed that their relationship soured quickly, and both had faults of their own. The singer moved on and secretly tied the knot with his manager Grace Miguel in 2015.

The singer gushed about her, stating she was an incredible partner and manager who helped him through some of the most challenging times in his life and career.

But the couple divorced nine months after they announced their separation. They had been married for 3 years.
