Torrey DeVitto and Her MLB Star Boyfriend David Ross Go Instagram Official

It's official! Torrey DeVitto is dating retired MLB star, David Ross. 

The Chicago Med actress made her relationship with the Chicago Cubs manager Instagram official on May 9, 2021, with a beautiful monochrome selfie.

The boyfriend held the camera while the girlfriend planted a kiss on his left cheek. "Love him madly," she wrote alongside the adorable snap with a red heart emoji. 

However, her fans know better than to be surprised at the revelation. Recently, the actress teased the news of her budding romance when she attended a Cubs game in Cincinnati. 

She shared a series of snaps she labeled "Cincinnati sights," followed by the hashtag "#SaveTheBestForLast." The picture she was referring to was that of Ross taken from behind the dugout with a red heart drawn around his head.

Prior to this, DeVitto was in a romantic relationship with Blue Bloods star Will Estes. The two went public with their relationship in an eerily similar manner. See if this rings a bell.

DeVitto posted a snap on October 7, 2020, making her relationship with Estes Instagram official. The announcement was accompanied by a monochrome snap of the new couple.

The camera saw the boyfriend framing the shot as the girlfriend pressed her lips against his left cheek. "2020 Accessory...Mask on ear so as not to forget it when leaving the house. #wearamask," she captioned the snap.

Although neither her nor Estes has come forth with news of a split, the fact that the aforementioned snap no longer exists on Instagram is a good hint.

She was also in a relationship with Chicago P.D. star Jesse Lee Soffer until May 2019. Before that still, she was married to her Vampire Diaries, costar Paul Wesley until 2013. 

DeVitto is a native of Huntington, New York. She made a name for herself on TV with recurring roles. She is best known for playing Melissa Hastings in Pretty Little Liars, Dr. Meredith Fell in The Vampire Diaries and Carrie in the CW drama One Tree Hill.

As for the new beau, he was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Hyla Ross, with whom he has three children. 

The celebrated athlete is best known for hitting a Game 7 World Series home run against the Cleveland Indians, making him the oldest player to do so in World Series history.

He played Major League Baseball for 15 seasons as a catcher for the Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, and Atlanta Braves. He has won two World Series, once in 2013 with the Red Sox and in 2016 with the Cubs.

He was also the first MLB player to appear on Dancing with the Stars, where he finished the 24th season in a respectable second place with pro partner Lindsay Arnold.
