Celebrity Chef Ranveer Brar Credits His Wife for Bringing ‘The Best Out of Him'

Ranveer Brar has a very supportive wife, and he never fails to appreciate her.
Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar has impressed the world with his culinary skills. Still, many people may not know that the reason behind his success - other than his sheer dedication and passion for cooking - is his wife, Pallavi Brar. She believed in him and brought out the best of him.
Shows Gratitude towards Wife through a Blog
In 2016 International Women's Day, Brar penned a blog about the women who impacted his life. While doing so, he talked about his wife, Pallavi Brar, and credited her for his success.
Maintaining that his wife's vibrant and positive personality inspired him to grow, the chef admitted that he wouldn't be successful if it hadn't been for his wife's support.
The other woman I truly look up to is my wife. A Chef herself, she has always inspired me to grow in my craft and get the best out of me. I couldn't have been where I am if it wasn't for her support.
Brar also complimented his wife's ability to balance marriage, motherhood, and career and asserted that he could never be grateful enough for the little things she did for him. He admitted that his wife managed his family at home while he traveled places for work purposes.
All in all, the MasterChef India Season 4's judge shared his pride and gratefulness in having a supportive, strong woman as his life partner.
With a heart full of gratitude, Brar leaves no stone unturned to make his wife feel appreciated. When they were living in the U.S, he cooked a 17-course meal just for her.
Ranveer Brar and Pallavi Brar Have a Son
Chef Brar married his wife, Pallavi, a fellow chef, after a long dating relationship. The pair welcomed their son, Ishan Brar, on Dec 1, 2014.
Since Brar travels a lot for work, he usually takes his wife and son together on shorter trips. For the longer trips, video calls have to suffice for the family.
Brar Found His Calling Through Kebab Vendors
Brar was born in Lucknow, the land of kebabs. Growing up, he became fascinated by the city’s street kebab vendors. His fascination transformed into his determination to be a chef at the age of 17. It happened after a kebab ustad, Munir Ahmed, taught the Indian chef about the finer points of making kebabs.
But, being from a respectable family of landowners brought hurdles to his cooking journey. Cooking was not considered an honorable profession back then and Brar had to work hard to convince his parents, especially his father, that cooking was a worthy career choice.
After successfully doing so, Brar enrolled himself at the Institute of Hotel Management in Lucknow, India.
Brar has since come a long way and has achieved several accomplishments, including being featured in the list of Top 50 chefs in the Indian Culinary Forum Book. The owner of an all-vegetarian fine-dining restaurant, TAG Gourmet Kitchen in Mumbai, India, also launched his first book, Come Into My Kitchen, in 2016.
Throughout his career, Brar has prepared delicacies for several Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities. Not only that, but he has also organized banquets at the Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Prime Minister’s residence in India.
Moreover, he has been a part of several TV shows, including Breakfast Xpress, Snack Attack, Homemade, The Great Indian Rasoi, Ranveer's Cafe, and Thank God It's Fryday.
