Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams went public with her new beau Simon Guobadia on May 10, 2021.

Her new man might not be a new face for RHOA viewers since they recognize him as the ex-husband of William's costar Falynn Guobadia.

Porsha Has a New Man

Williams made the announcement via Instagram on Monday. She shared a snap of herself and her new beau spending some quality time on a boat out in the water. 

Alongside the snap, the reality star revealed that the two had been dating for a month and are "crazy in love."

"I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest," she added. "I choose happiness every morning and every night." She reinforced that Guobadia made her happy, and that was all that mattered. 

Simon Filed for Divorce In January

Addressing her fans who were still skeptical about the nature of their relationship, Williams explained that her new boyfriend had already filed for divorce in January, and she had no bearing in that decision. 

According to Williams, Falynn is not a friend, and the relationship she had with Guobadia was a thing of the past. 

Wiliams believes that her relationship with Guobadia is a positive and loving step forward for all parties involved.

Falynn and Simon Ended 2 Years of Marriage

Falynn and Guobadia announced their decision to part ways on April 22, 2021 in an Instagram story. Falynn confessed the decision to part ways was not an easy one. Regardless, their marriage of two years and five years of friendship led them to that point. 

Even in its final moments, the relationship did not dissolve with bitter words. She continued:

We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other's lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other's children. This mutual decision was not made lightly.

She concluded her message by thanking her supporters and requested privacy as the ex-couple made their way through a difficult time. 

Porsha's Ex-Husband Is Supportive of Her Happiness

As for Williams, she confirmed that both her ex-husband Dennis McKinley, with whom she shares her baby daughter Pilar Jhena, and Simon were committed to being respectful and supportive of her happiness. 

"Two black men stepping up and being amazing people-let's praise them!!!!" she gushed as she celebrated the fact that both Dennis and Simon were dedicated to being the best parents they could be to baby PJ. 

All that being said, there is also a fair possibility that Williams and Guobadia are much further into their relationship than they are letting on. 

The relationship announcement came just a day after Williams was spotted flaunting a sparkling stone on her left hand as she posed alongside Simon and Dennis on Mother's Day.
