On October 18, Young Lyric announced her pregnancy with a photo shoot on her Instagram. She wore a pink floral two-piece set with a matching crown and huge peach fluffy angel wings.

Her baby bump was in full view, and her boyfriend, Shakur Stevenson, was there holding her as they posed.

The rapper who garnered attention after posting rap remixes on her YouTube channel also uploaded a pregnancy announcement video.

She revealed the couple was expecting a daughter and shared that Stevenson would be a great father and treat his first child "like a diamond."

Meanwhile, Stevenson iterated that although they would be clueless as first-time parents, they had a wonderful family who would guide them through their journey to parenthood.  

Young Lyric and Shakur Stevenson Give Birth

Almost two months after announcing that she is pregnant, Young Lyric took to Instagram, but this time to announce that she had given birth to their baby daughter. 

On December 6, Young Lyric posted a cozy family photo of her still in the hospital bed as she hugged her daughter.

The comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages from both fans and celebrities. Fellow rapper Killuminati sent her love with heart emojis. 

Stevenson took to his Instagram stories to upload the family photo. In addition, he revealed they had named their daughter Leilani Asha Stevenson. 

Many congratulated the couple and noted that their daughter's name was beautiful. But some expressed their shock, as they were not aware that Young Lyric was expecting. 

Young Lyric's Relationship And Her Boyfriend

The new parents have been in a relationship since December last year. 

Young Lyric was initially with NBA YoungBoy, but by November 2020, they called it quits.

She confirmed the breakup when she tweeted about moving on and deleted all of her social media posts related to YoungBoy. 

Soon speculations of her dating Stevenson started after their exchanges on social media.

The couple revealed little at first, but everything was confirmed when they officially announced their relationship to the world on December 17, 2020, with loved-up photos of each other. 

For those not aware, Young Lyric's beau is a professional boxer. The athlete is currently 24 years old, but his boxing career began at five under the guidance of his grandfather. 

Nicknamed fearless, Stevenson represented Team USA in the 2016 Olympics and won a silver medal in the bantamweight division before he turned professional in 2017.

He signed with Top Rank and, in 2019, secured his biggest victory. He earned the WBO featherweight champion of the world title. 

Stevenson's success has not gone unnoticed, as many consider him the next "Floyd Mayweather." But whether that holds is something fans will have to wait and see.Â
